3 big humugous sliding bolts that only open and close in a big long key......unfortunately my neighborhood is dangerous......sometimes I freak when returning late a night trying to get the door open real fast and get in and lock up ever more real fast. I could tell some really scary stuff but then I'd be even more troubled over my situation.....
an old worn out doorknob that is ready to fall off the knob takes a key...which is more of a pain in the ass than for security because the door is full of easy to break windows anyway
Doorknobs, ori? Oh,how VERY passe'! I have heavy a bead curtain-keeps the lower orders out and the cats in! [well-in my dreams it does]
My door knob is about ready to fall off...its old and the type where you push in and turn from the inside to lock the outside. The knob is also like 6 inches away from the door frame so i need to get a special knob so it can reach the frame when it shuts. This is just overall a pain to deal with.
plain old doorknobs all around the house except for the door that separates the kitchen from the back house which has a lever. got a couple of curtains too. some are just for the air and one is a permanent separation of the (tool room) which will no longer be the tool room if i buy the house.
yeah, pretty standard knob. old fashioned turning lock like broony's. sliding glass door has a little turning button sort of thing, but i'm not sure that it actually works. it locks via bar that jams it shut.
The house where I grew up in Penn Hills (great view of three rivers stadium at the time) had door knobs throughout the interior like these; It was built between 1866 and 1870.
Cheap newer fashioned door knob. On the inside there's a child proof plastic cover so my son stays indoors should I advert my attention for longer than 3 seconds.
I Live In A House Full Of Knobs, The Only Exceptions Being The Front And Rear Security Screen Doors.... Cheers Glen.
