More than 1/4 of homes have been ditroied in Gaza up to now. What it's mean? It means almost half millions of Palestinian in Gaza are homeless, definitely, they hate Zamatis not the Jewish people.

What I do in the war

Because I cannot carry your dead child,
I sweep the deck of my friend
and fling the dry pine needles
to the messenger breeze, and the strike
of my broom down the steps to the sea
is the shovel for digging the grave
and the birdsong is the keening
of your family and clinging companions
Instead of joining you to claw the rubble
in search of your buried mother,
I will bring bread to my neighbour
who will serve it to her children,
and I chant your name in rhythm
to the shouts and earth movers
with the warm loaf in my hand
and the autumn air gripping my chest
I will serve tea to this welcome company
    and offer a fragrant, poignant
    impotent wish for peace,
    an as-salaam aleikum with each
touch of the cup to silent lips,
while you grip your phone for news
and prepare to sleep on dark roads,
upon carpets that once had homes
Nothing in me can help you know
if your daughter is alive or dead,
or which of those is worse,
    so I will whisper b’shalom b’shalom
with each step up this mountain
    from where my strength comes
and where my cries are left
and where the eagles loft and lift
You cannot bear witness to my sorrow
for those I love whom I do not know
so I will ring the Japanese garden bell
to reach all those unjustly taken away
I will listen to its resounding song
which ears hear for ten slow breaths
    but which trees hear forever
and I pledge to each of you who suffers now
a place in its vibrating prayer

question should be hamas or Israel, hamas started this round of conflict, hamas could release ALL hostages,
I stand with the people of Israel not necessarily their current government but I dont live there either
the arabs declined the 2 state solution in 1948
when the options are kill or be killed I will choose kill

I see 14 years of misinformation and sympathizing with genocidal terrorists have gone absolutely nowhere...

Actually, the regular people don't have enough knowledge about the politics which is run by their gaverments, on the hand, the gaverments control most of the mass media no matter in the democratic countries or in the dictatorship societies.
For example, Hamas planed to attack to Isreal for more than 2 or 3 years before October 7, they stored so many rockets, missel and other deadly weapons, some other government like Iran fully supported and trained the Hamas members, and help them to manage war plan on the 7, of October.
Hamas knew exactly what will be happened after attack, and manage how to react after the beginning of war, and even Hamas knew how deadly reaction of Isreal could be. Definitely, no body of people in Gaza didn't know anything about this barbaric war.
On the other side, the Israeli gaverments knew about this war previously and made everything ready to deadly reaction. The people of Isreal had not any idea and the society medias did not mention about the war, surly the public media did not know anything to publish for the people.
The horeabl barbaric attack happened by Hamas. Many kids women , old , and young people massacaed by Hamas , and what was the Israeli reactions! Everybody knows what are the result! more the 1/4 of the Gaza almost washed and more than half millions Palestinian lost they home and more than 5000 has been killed including 2000 kids.
Both Hamas and Israeli government are doing war crim, there is no reason to explain why and how they are doing, the both side are killing their own people who did not know anything about this dirty war. Even now, both sides don't like to size fires.
Okay, now tell me which side we should support? We as human and have to condemn the both sides hardly and just stay with the people who lost their love ones and fight with these too criminal sides.

If we think there is differences between children we are wrong, the Jewish children and Muslims children are the same so we should stop killing the Palestinian children in Gaza. If these children are killing by Israeli army unfortunately the Israeli children will be killed by the other side, so this dirty game will be repeated again and again by both sides which none of them care about the people.
Traveling of Biden, British prime minister, Germany foreign minister, and any other group are just their business trips to find more army markets not to stop the war.

Hamas and Metanyaho need each other. Before this war Metanyaho was in a critical political situation and needed to get out from that situation, so the war coused the people forgot him and the opposition leader supports him. Hamas also need more financial support to get from Iran, so both of them are happy with the present situation, otherwise they try to make sizefire.

I'm guessing English isn't PGAs first language and wherever he's from and whatever his first language is, I still understand him and his English is a hell of a lot better than my Arabic and most other languages.

    Just sayin'.

Ha,ha,ha, yes you are right, English is not my first language, but since I have engaged with scientific English language for many years, I learned it. That's why it is not fluent in writing.

    Better. The name is Netanyahu.

That's understandable. I didn't mean to imply you were at at fault, and I could have just let it go. At one level, the matter is trivial, and I know who you meant to refer to. I've made far worse mistakes. However, we're talking about the name of a major world leader. If we were having a discussion about President Macaroni of France, I'd find it difficult not to point out that the name is Macron. Otherwise, we might go on and on being polite at the expense of HF's reputation.

And I agree with your basic point. Netanyahu was facing major criticism at home for corruption and subverting the Supreme Court. The domestic divisions created an opportunity for Hamas to strike. He's aligned with the hard liners in Israel, and I don't like the guy. But that doesn't excuse the Hamas atrocities.

I'm pro Palestine AND Israel and anti-Hamas. It's horrible what's happening to the people in Gaza, but Hamas must be destroyed and there's really no other way to do it. They're dug in and using the Palestinians as a shield, and must be uprooted. Only an invasion of Gaza will accomplish that.

You are right, both nations are the main loser, Hamas and Israeli gaverments fighting just for being in power. They don't care about the people. 75 years ago Holacous happened in Germany by Hitler, now another Holacoust !!!happen for Palestinian, so no differences between these two Holocaust, both nation have to be sacrificed by gaverments in the past and now. !!!
