There are a lot of articles involving interviews with him that you can find if you google 'Egdar Mitchell aliens'-those three words will get you a lot of articles. And he really can't be accused, I think, of being crazy or having financial motives for his claims-he's not writing a book or selling anything. He made the longest moon walk of any man and is a respected astronaut with a PhD in Astrophysics. Not just your average Joe that says aliens invaded his house through the air-conditioning vent
Would you set out to visit a pack of irrational hominids in a far flung corner or this universe. For anthropological reasons.. maybe. We are doctorate material for " abnormal species" at galactic U. Prill
I don't think life from outside the Earth has physically visited the Earth. However, I find it quite plausible that life from other solar systems 'listens in' on us, or, at least will begin doing so as soon as our radio-frequency bubble becomes available to them in "x"-so-many light-years.
we didn't even start in the Milky Way Galaxy! we merged with it. thus the off-center position we're occupying on the galactic plane. and we may merge again, with the M31. and generally, older stars occupy a more central position in a galaxy. that's the way i remember it. but if i'm wrong i'd appreciate a scientific source to correct myself. and i think it's highly unlikely alien life has visited our planet but pretty likely there is intelligent life out there on other planets or other dimensions.
Without the investigation - though my belief is that if we are not wholey, then we are partly - for the gene is minute, and then there is the 'unknown' event and period that is speculative
