I'm working on regular sized dreads... they are shoulder length. I like dreads like this... Ani Difranco knows how to sport them.
I prefer mine to be a bit on the thin side but that's because I have fine hair. I think thicker dreads look awesome. It all depends on the individual.
wow she does have really amazing dreads, i dont know when the last time I saw a picture of her was, but does she still have them?
Well my dreads arent exactly dreads yet but you guys kno that story. But I chose a little on the phat side bcz like lots of ppl have said in earlier pages smaller ones tend to look lik you went to some salon and got them put in. Phatter ones just look more natural and crazy and I prefer them over skin-e ones ne day.
my dreads are quite thin and I don't think they look salon done at all. I prefer thin dreads to thick ones as you seem to get more of a movement with thin dreads, like little ropes. I know some people with excellent phatties but my favourites have akways been thin loopy wild looking dreadlocks.
I love very thin, uniform dreads, but have only seen them on African American hair. I have come to appreciate mine. Mine are kind of thin, probbaly just because they aren't fully locked. My favourite dread is actually a fat little thing. I always put a bead on it. I can't wait for my hair to be long! It seems like it is taking forever to grow with these dreads because they shrink it a bit. Oh well. I think everyone's dreads are right for them, there's no wrong or right answer.
depends...if they are gonnna be past yer ass...pinky dreads, but I prefer the ...hmmmmm quarter to half dollar size ones that go just past the shoulders. I have never had dreads so dont dabuse my opinions too harshly.
I think it looks much more interesting when a person has dreads of all different sizes on their head... or maybe I'm just biased because that's what's going on with my kid's hair right now. Though I did rip apart the biggest fatty into three separate dreads. She told me we weren't ever doing that again! Can't blame her, it wasn't an easy task. But when I think of perfect dreadlocks, I think Whoopi Goldberg.
I looove really thick dreads. but I prefer a mix, the kind that look crazy and unique. though I do find whoopi's dreads strangely appealing, perfect though they are
Uniformed Thin dreads are nice to see... But I like thick ones when the hair type allows it. Like when you have thick hair then you dont see any bold spots... And you can never go wrong with mix... Mine at this moment are thin at the front and thick at the back... I need to post a pic...
