Funny how we at first instance have no clue at all about from what situation the other people here post from. Even if you happen to have kind of an image of it in your mind.

Isn't this thread pretty much about that? I also remember other picture threads where people would post pics of the place they'd post from.

Well I apologize for not fulfilling your intentions.. I'm pretty hard to irritate unless we touch on certain topics. But you don't seem much into contemporary politics so we should be good in that dept.

Also, don't take any of my past comments to heart. I don't dislike you. However, I do think that a good portion of your posts come across as more or less elitist and pretentious. Which isn't becoming of anyone, regardless of intelligence. So naturally I start to poke and prod. Although.. I feel like I remember you trolling me first out of nowhere. Who knows.

You are fully within your rights to regard my posts as such, however I'd argue that the posts of mine which you consider to exude an aroma of pretense are likely those written in sarcasm, containing only an iota of truth and that, grossly exaggerated for (what some may consider to be) humorous effect. By definition I am not a person who can be properly called intelligent (clever, perhaps) but I do pride myself on account of my self-education, perhaps not so very unlike how you pride yourself on your work ethic?

It would be rightly said that I have little interest in contemporary politics, for I am a perennial student to history. I've not aptitude for political debate and, to share an honest opinion, do not consider a predisposition to political thought to be an enviable attribute. I do appreciate it's immense importance and thoroughly enjoy studying it's consequences through the social sciences, but I have my own ideas about governance which are greatly at odds with the present fashions.
