Guns don't kill people. Stupid people with guns kill people. Ninety percent of the time stupid people with illegal guns kill people. Hence, your gun control laws are useless. And for those posters in Canada, the UK and Europe, people are killed with illegal guns in your countries almost every day. Your crime is not our fault. Any more than the Canadian kids shooting each other in the streets over drug territory is our fault. Humans are violent creatures by nature.

And I legally own many, and enough ammunition to last years. But I don't use them to kill people.

I am suprised that so many of the PEACEFUL people on this board own guns. F-ing hypocrites... I don't care if it is just for protection or hunting... a gun is a fucking gun. IF you have a gun you are only creating the chance of it going of and killing someone OR something.
I have never even shot a gun. When I was little I was given the chance to shoot a little black pistol... my hand got caught in the trigger and it never went off. I take that as a sign and am content with the fact that I have never shot a gun.

 

100% right. But if those people never had guns to begin with there wouldn't be a problem. Guns are a symbol of mankind's technological downfall.

I believe this is how it should be. And this is coming from a vegetarian [20+ years]! I wouldn't personally hunt animals, but I'd much prefer for people to hunt & eat what they kill, rather than continue to contribute to the farm factory industry or to merely kill an animal for purely for pleasure or prize.

 

I don't own a gun, but at some point I probably will. It won't be for a while but I'm considering buying a fairly small pistol when I move to the city. But I don't intend to buy any bullets--I just want it because I enjoy the aesthetic of guns and to scare people if they attack me.

If you pull a gun, be prepared to use it. If your gun has no bullets the "scared" person might just kill you in their attack.

And, it will be justifiable homicide.

 

Oy, I guess that's true. Okay, I won't pull it on people in attacks. I still want a gun and no bullets, though.
