    i own 2 hand guns - a glock 9mm and a .45 1911
    1 shotgun - a turkish 12 gauge
    3 rifles - remington 700, ar15, m14

if the US tries to ban guns i would riot, we have the right to have them if we so choose, damn them if they try

ive actually used them for self defense before
    - one night around 1am i was getting ready for bed and heard something going on outside and there was someone breaking in next door, i called them and the cops and took my shotgun with me out side and they ran off (i was living in Texas, if someone walks into your yard and dont leave after you tell them to you can legally shoot them.)
-When i was in Florida someone threw a rock through my window i grabbed my .45 went out side and held him at gun point till the cops got there and arrested him.
-Again in Texas i was driving home from work at like 10pm and i see some guy and girl in a fight, the guy is beating the hell out of her. i tell him to stop(i have my gun in my hand but hidden behind the car door. he starts coming at me so i point it at him, (i think he pissed himself) again called cops they take him away

every time was 100% legal, when i called the cops i told them what is going on and i am armed.( so the cops are not surprised when they get there) after the cops get there and do there thing they check my id and all that good stuff and i go about my day.

Well, in the case of nuclear fallout, it's good to know that you have your own personal armory :D

What are you going to do with a 50 cal? Do you do competitive shooting or something, or just recreation?

Laser sighting....an aid for those with poor training and aim. Close in? Why bother?
From a distance? Laser is straightline. Can't lead or compensate for drop and wind.

Looks cool in the movies, though.
Imo...way too expensive for what it delivers. Better to buy a box of shells and plunk away until you got it down.

Don't own a gun. I know many people that own them for hunting, not protection.

whatcha gonna do when ya run out of bullets/shells. While your stocking up on guns, maybe you should look into getting a reloading kit. You'll need about 100lbs of lead and a source of gunpowder and firing caps or whatever they are called and a drill press thingy to pack em together.

My Dad use to reload/make his own ammo in the 70s. He was a survivalist.

The last gun I owned took care of that. It was a flintlock muzzle loader pistol. :p

Actually used black powder, the primitive stuff you can make yourself if you have sulfur and charcoal. Now it would be an art to chip out new flints, but doable.

(I still don't know how those things were better than a good crossbow.)

if it came to that there would be a reason. if i was still alive i would scavenge off the dead..

otherwise i have ample ammunition to hunt what i need, slaughter my animals ,and do a lil target shooting till im dead and gone.

i would suggest to others to stock up on ammo now as well.

very solid rumor going around of a tax as much as 500% soon to be put on ammo.

they cant completely ban guns but they can sure as hell make them to expensive to shoot.

I have been taking karate for 2 years, then I took the firearm safety course to get my class A license to conceal and carry and I thought to myself, "a gun belt will beat a black belt any day."

and almost all those people are still killed by illegal guns.

I love this country, just about any state you can down and get a permit and anyone can walk around with a concealed gun, hell in Vermont and Alaska you don't even need to get the permit.

    Castle doctrine law ftw

It would make me feel uncomfortable to have a gun in my house. It is not the right choice for me.

Hate to tell all you guys who have posted on this thread in the last few months, but all this is is a list of people who either own guns or not. Not something that might be a good idea to respond to if ya do? Because all the actual discussion on the subject (many many pages worth) was deleted by the moderator. That's why nobody much is posting anything here any more. This particular thread should have been closed a year ago...
