I'd like to be the champion of that race since it is the coolest thing ever. But I just don't have the engineering skills I'm afraid

 

Hey now keep that chin up. Dale Earnhart doesn't build his car (as far as I know, I hate nascar) he just drives it. my brother is an engineer, albeit an environmental engineer, but I'm sure he could help you out. as a kid, he worked wonders helping me build things with legos.

 

Yeah, I'll just do the artistic portion and do the pedaling and make someone else engineer it.

I was thinking of being an Environmental Engineer (which in this school it is rumored to be the hardest major to get) but decided to be a scientist instead. Much less math...

 

It is a very difficult major - nevermind getting a phd like Sean has. He definitely got the brains - I'm still trying to figure out what I got

I guess my reason for my existence is to be abnormal as possible.

 

to one Thanksgiving, 30 years from now, to have my house filled with my children and their children, running out of places for people to sleep, sending somebody to the store for eggs, yelling at my grandkids for running in my house, complaining about being the only person doing any work, listening to my children fight about the upcoming family vacation, disapproving of my son's new snooty girlfriend, over a pot of simmering greens....pausing....and thinking "I did myself and God proud"



I am living my life to reach that moment
