Although I am not a hippie, it has been my experience that most hippies I know have some sort of business or self employment.

They often create something that they sell or supply "goods". This funds their travels and lifestyle.

I was born to late to be considered a true hippie. But they are good people in my book.

So what if you're young, you're considered a neo--hippie, new hippie! That's what it's about! Cool!

now that is always something I thought would be a good job when I see that animal cops show on the animal planet.

How did you get into that line of work? Any schooling ??

How do you keep from killing people when you show up to their house and their animals are about dead from mis treatment?

At the moment, I have, but it's only for a month. Usually I don't work. I'm looking for somewhere fun to work part-time.

I don't have a job. I have a 6 month old daughter; mamas with babies shouldn't have to work. They should be able to stay home with their babies without people giving them a hard time. Well, at least people give me a hard time. I'm constantly getting asked "Why would you want to stay home all day when you could take her to daycare and get out of the house?" I could think of nothing better than giving my all to my daughter. Second, daycares scare the shit out of me as well as taking her to some random stranger to babysit her. Lastly, how the hell is working any kind of escape? Jeez.........

I work part-time in an optician's, training to be a contact lens optician. My real passion is kinesiology/naturopathy, in which I should be qualified by summer (June). Contact lenses is a way of paying the bills, kinesiology is the ideal job. Someday it'll all be kinesiology and then I'll be happy.

What's interesting about it? I'm sure it depends on the job you have to do there, but what I've heard from people who worked in a fast food kitchen sounded aweful. Although it is kinda interesting to see all those rebelling adolescents let themselves be pushed around in those organised kitchens for the money. Two HB and make it fast you ***!!

If your daughter is 6months, I definatly wouldn't trust anyone but yourself with her. I could see if they were 3 or even 2, but I just can't understand how someone could tell you to give up something that young just for some extra cash.
