It's a temporary thing. Can't keep on forever.

But with a lot of flirting men I know the women are offended or intimidated though. Even if the guy thinks it was done in good fun or an innocent flirt attempt. I guess some men are not good it at and get pissed off (and even offended themselves) when a woman doesn't react as he would like.

I was basing my comment on certain posts of you on here. Hope for you you're right about how they regard you in real life. I think you might simply be fooling yourself and they may laugh about your flirting but don't really appreciate it. I see this so often, and the guy often chooses to portray it as 'well she's no fun!' 'she doesn't know how to take a compliment!' while its actually he's no fun and she simply doesn't want such a compliment from such a guy. Just a thought I felt like sharing.

Well, we all know that a man who really loves females far from always act on that in a way women appreciate. Esp old goats craving fresh leaves.

I'm an outgoing, friendly guy who frequently strikes up a conversation with strangers, usually when waiting in line. Sometimes it turns into light flirting depending on what the lady says. They are smart enough to know it is all in fun.

 

For me it is so natural to for instance: be in a market and ask the lady next to me if these vegs seem fresh to her, I get her answer and I walk away. Now I don't do that as a flirt BUT in so many instances a minute or 2 later they will begin to talk to me. It is like I broke the ice.

It is so interesting. I am the type of guy that can strike up a conversation with anyone anytime and I do except with the Covid thing now I stay home. When I do you would be surprised at how many guys and girls want to take it further.

 

I am a natural flirt but I think women know what flirting is about. They like the attention because it’s a harmless way to feel good about oneself. I love it when a woman flirts with me. We get so many negative messages about ourselves every day - it’s nice to get a positive one!

 

Of course, it could just be playing. Children play. Why not adults? This is why I always think children are more interesting than adults. Play!

Now I'll add mine: So many times a day I've 'broken the ice' by speaking to someone when everyone is silently waiting for something or doing something. Almost every time people will respond and often begin a chat, both guys and ladys. I'm considerably older, but many younger and middle-age women will give me a smile (and not in just a 'formal' way). Several times I've walked past one and, in passing, said, "You're really pretty" or "You're a really pretty lady" then kept going. Looking back it usually gets a big smile. We all need a little bump up to the ego now and then. We've all become too isolated from each other. (couple of times pushed it and said , 'nice legs')

This seems like a good summary of a lot of us with healthy, balanced attitudes, which, God knows, we need a lot more of nowadays!
