Depends on the subject matters I suppose that they are intellectually inclined on. I dated a dude as of recent who was very fluent in diff languages and I think that made him think he was somehow better than most and was all the time trying to teach me spanish and shit and that jus wasnt something I necessarily cared about so in that case..yes it was a turn off. When anyone starts to rant or get preachy with me. I tend to tune out unless It is of intrest to me or I care to learn it because I want too. I think this is the case with most.

 

see?! i was right. being a genius is awesome, unless you're just a dick, then it does you no good at all. attitude is a huge part of the whole deal.
