Do you believe in life after death?

~ 97% of the time, yes. So yes, i do. (*holding in 2 hour rant about what i think about death and the possibilities of the life we will lead after we die...*)

 

I also was raised baptist and when you start to do your research, it really makes you question your past beliefs.

 

Some persons are eternal. They'll never die. Others will have a choice to live on or to just die off after this life we have here now.

 

I more or less believe in reincarnation. I think I like that idea better than anything.

Absolutely. I Also Believe In Reincarnation, And Think We Choose The Number Of Lives We Have And Circumstances Coming Back In.

 

Yes....I have NO DOUBT that there is a life after this....as there was a life BEFORE this...we just continue on.....

i don't want to fool myself and give me a false hope that i sould not worry if i miss something in this life that i will get another chanse. There are no second chanses or second lives, that's just the way it is.

 

But, Marija, what if you turn out to be wrong?
By closing your mind you are doing to things :
1. Giving into the fear that you dont want to be let down.
2. Giving into the fear of what you may discover.

I mean, Im not saying you are wrong or right, but to claim
that "that's just way it is" is to put your opinion out
as fact, and therefor above and beyond anyone elses.

Which, in acuality, is rooted in another fear.
But thats besides the point.

With my opinion i don't loose anything.
You loose if i'm right, it will turn out that you were living a lie all the time.
And no, i have no fears about death and the fact that we all take responsibilyties about our actions and we don't get second chanses for our mistakes, and i'm happier this way.
I find my self more down to earth than you.

Ok.....I can see that it makes you feel secure and safe to have such a belief ...but...what if WE are right and YOU are wrong....I dont think that having that particualr belief makes you anymore down to earth than anyone else...and by no means am I any BETTER than anyone else ....I think all should be allowed their own beliefs without anyone belittling them for it. SO , for your own sake , I hope you ARE right.
But , if you are WRONG....dont worry...you will have another chance in the next life to get it right.
