Well, hippie I am, maybe it is all an illusion indeed. But we're talking about the aliens in our illusion then. Would be a strange coincidence though, that we all having the same illusion. Or are we an illusion ourselves? Of an alien race perhaps. Or a simulation, like an advanced Sims or WoW :tongue:

yes, everything is an illusion.
we're just animating our lives.
there is nothing left to our earth.
we are spirits of the past
we remained here to haunt what's no longer here.
the aliens are an illusion, too.
nothing exists anymore, we already had our alien invasion.
now, we're all dead and what we think we know are ghosts...
are really something else, that's an illusion, too.
and yes, the alien impact has left a huge mark on us
that it sort of deprogrammed us and so we are having the same illusion.
we are aliens, to what we call the aliens.
could it be that the aliens are questioning our existance?
and that right next door to us, we've go the paralell universe.
are our parallel selves questioning our exsistance too?

I say we're probably an alien experiment, living in a simulation. All the aliens are betting on humans of which one finds out first. Now the aliens who have bet on me have won, I'm expecting a reward. Maybe they'll print me out and they let me live in their world. Yeah.

i can see them printing someone out on paper.
i want to go through the printer.
but if you watch the printer while it's printing...
we would be in a couple billions different pieces.
infusing onto one sheet of paper.

or... maybe once you've gone through the printer
you become of the next level of existance.
maybe humans are on the bottom of the exsistance chain.
and aliens are on the top, and when we go through the printer...
that's when we transition into their world.
that's probably where all the missing people that are never found go.
they found out and to prevent further knowledge for other people.
they go through the printer and become an alien.

and the same logic applies to these weird people that show up on earth out of nowhere with no name, no proof of exsistance at all, like that piano man that showed up in spain or somewhere like that... maybe when that happens, it's usually when an alien does someything against his or her community and becomes ostrasized and must remain on earth.

if aliens wanted to research us the would be capable of faster than light travel.

if they were capable of faster than light travel they would probably possess telescopic technology.

this means that if they wanted to 'study' us (again, y'all are thinking that A) aliens are like us, and B) we're soooo damn interesting that everyone and their mothers are trying to figure us out) they could go x amount of light years away, and then use a telescope to observe us at any point during our developement.

this would be far more economical, easy, and without the whole alien autopsy risk. it would also elliminate the fact that whatever they do will completely destroy their control variables.

 

what if one galaxy's aliens were like dogs or something.
the next galaxy's aliens were all the weird people we associate with.
and the next galaxy's aliens were all stereotypical aliens?

In Star Trek: Enterprise they had water creatures, don't know if they were mammals, but they looked like it. They were highly intelligent and also built spaceships (with water in it, haha).
Aliens could indeed be everything we can imagine and probably are so different we wouldn't understand a thing of them.
Anybody red H.P. Lovecrafts Shadow out of time? Trippy business, I tell you. That guy had an amazing imagination. I really recommend it, it's a pretty short story, but he has some great thoughts about aliens in it.

 

eugene: we cant learn anything just by videos of animals. they come here abduct ppl that noone cares about(hillbillies) and does experiments on them. im just saying we dont really kno shit about them. economical? dude seriously, how do you know they dont just watch us for fun? thats right, you dont.

 

it might be just like that southpark episode 'cancelled' lol. but yeah, they might have a futuristic form of tv, and watch us kill eachother and all :/

 

Personally, that's why i think god created us. he wanted a creature so insane and fucked up even HE (god) wouldn't know what's going to happen next.

we can learn a lot more about animals in their natural habitat than by putting them in zoos. hell, if you went by the zoo model you'd think that all animals are depressed sex fiends. if we could eliminate the variable of us being there it would make our studies more accurate.
it's kindof a law of physics, once you observe something, you inheriently change it.

we can't know their motives, all we can do is analyze whatever methodology is presented by the ufo-aliens believers.
abducting people is a crappy way of learning about them, and would be extremely wasteful in terms of energy (bending the fabric of space time to shove a dildo up some farmer's ass).

 

mebe they come from a place with an abundance of renewable energy. and you cant learn anatomy by looking at something on the outside can you?
