I command you to change your personal spiritual beliefs immediately, and believe exactly whatever I decide is the correct interpretation of whichever one of the multitude of scriptures in the world that I say is the ONE TRUE RELIGION. If you refuse, I am compelled to warn you, the most hideous tortures that the worst criminal minds that ever lived will be enacted upon your person for no less than a googleplex to the power of a googleplex millenia. That is a fairly long time, I might add.
Is there any reason that I should not? I think not. You seem like a decent person. I only have trouble loving a few personality types, like serial killers for example.
i already knew you were a christian, and im sorry if i've offended you. of course i still love you. just like i still love my sis who is a christian.
we judge people for a reason, you're judging me right now for judging someone esle. its a human response that we all do everyday with every persons actions whether your aware of it or not. would it be silly of me to think all black people like hip hop? yes. wold it be silly of me to think all north american black people like hip hop? yes wold it be silly of me to think a majority of todays black youth in north america like hip hop? no because thats the fact of the matter. i was going to put more effort into tying that into my original arguement, but i jsut remembered im lazy so you'll have to make the loose correlation yourself.
ya got me. I think it is not silly, but just unsubstantiated hearsay, and I do not feel it is a fact. I don't have to make anything, since the loose correlation has already been made. I just wonder if we are clear on the correlation not being causation?
oh totally, i think every one jumps to far too many conclusions with cause and effect, and which is which...its a lot like the chiken and the egg, and which came first. much like statistics; 99 percent of all murders are commited within a day of someone involved eating bread. this doesnt mean that bread is the cause of 99 percent of all murders.
I am a Christian. I don't go to Church. I cannot quote scripture. But I Believe. I don't think I have ever pushed my Faith on anyone here. In fact there have been a few times I wanted to say that I thought someone was blessed but instead found a different term so I wouldn't offend in case their beliefs were not the same as mine. I look at the Person not their Religion.
There are some Christians that bother me, but there are also a lot of people that bother me and they are not Christians. As long as they are not trying to make me go to church...
The ones who tell my kids they are going to hell annoy me. They control their sheep through fear. All of my neighbors are Christians and I hold pagan ceremonies in my front yard just to annoy them. I hope that they think I am weird because I am. I am the only one in the neighborhood with a labyrinth in their yard. Everyone esle has swimming pools.
peanuts, I love your answer..Christians are called to show love to everyone. Hey..Im a christian and even some christians bug me... But I think the thing is to not let a handful of ppl ruin your view o everyone..its like me saying "Well..such and such is athiest ad they are huge jerks..so all athiests must be jerks." Thats not true and I know it!
nope. i'm a christian, though i'm not a good church-going type. i think i'm going to start finding generalities that apply to all sorts of people here and start saying "i really dislike (whatever group inserted here)" and when all the nice ones i talk to pop in and say "i'm one" i'll respond "oh, but you're okay, it's all the OTHERS that bother me." totally lame.
