I use a digital SLR and preforms jsut like a regualr slr, I have a myriad of lenses for them too that act jsut alike a film camera theing I hav eto worry about it blowing out highlighrts and such.

that sounds pretty good, how much did that cost? i just have a fuji that cost around 200 dollars, its good for what it is.....but that would be cool to have the controls of say, a standard 35 mm.

maybe the prices will come down as time goes on.

If those cameras do exist, then i have to say the one advantage to film is the darkroom tricks that you can do when you develop yourself.

They are expensive, I am getting the Canon 20 D for about 1500

All the darkroom effects and more can be done in photoshop. I am strictly a photoshop user at work, my boss shoots photojournalistic weddings all in digital.
Most of the world of photojournalism has switched to digital.
