Speaking of context, you made the blanket statement that "God is not the author of confusion" which I showed to be wrong (if you accept the scriptures).

God made you. When you are confused (as you are about the author of confusion), it is because God made you confused.

Anyway... People who do not know God (confused people) seek God. If they were not confused, they would not be seeking that which they live with.

 

In the context of what I was speaking about God is not the author of confusion. I was making the point that pagan religions are not established by God but by the Devil who seeks to confuse the truth. And in that respect God is not the author of confusion. If you continue to take and read things out of the context of which it is given you will be as confused as the one's reading your posts. The Bible tells us all, that we should seek God while He may be found. You can know God and still seek after Him because it takes a long time to build a relationship with Him. Seeking Him can be an everyday event. Thats why Paul say we now see through a glass darkley, but then face to face we will know Him.

Luckily I didn't. Instead of lying, you should say that the bible says God is the author of confusion, but in some cases clears it up.

God comes to us. Of course, God puts the thought of pursuit in us before coming to us to convince those who do not know God (the proud) that they came to God of their own will. Only the truly humble understand this- we can laugh about it.

Perceiving God is an everyday event. Seeking God? You will eventually learn to let the all powerful one come to you.

 

Truth . It is the elements of Language , like the Bible is Truth when this is the whole set of Language symbols a person thinks with . To sustain this truth , all of experience must be accounted for by creating metaphor from the truth set . It is difficult , frustrating work . The inclination is to deny experience if the work seems too much , or just to be silent , or ... mmm ... how to say it ? ... like , go to war , defend doctine . Yet , most Christians really do have more Truth than the Bible and will sanely express it in ways beyond words . All we got here is words .

 

Because I am not a member of any man made religion. My faith is based on the Word of God alone.

Ok , what you say is Truth ? Truth is a fundamental element of philosophy . Jesus say ' I am the Truth and the Light ' . Maybe it's easier to explain light , the sunshine of conciousness .

 

Well like I said before, the Bible is the only Book I know that writes history before it happens.

The Bible said that in the latter years the Jews would return to Israel. They have.

The Bible said that when they return they would be surrounded by enemies, and the Jews would recapture Jerusalem. They did.

The Bible said there would be an addition built on to Jerusalems Old East Gate and the addition would be sealed. It states all attempts to enter through the addition would meet with failure. All of this is true. And the sealing of the Gate was not by those who believed in the Bible, but by those who did not. They thought they could prevent the prophecy from coming to pass, but instead, they helped to fulfill it.

The Bible said that when the Jews return they nolonger would be a duel kingdom as before, but would be a single nation. They are.

The Bible states that near the end, the jews will rebuild a third Temple on Mount Moriah. The plans for the Temple have already been drawn up, and there is a growing movement in Israel to rebuild the Temple. Just like the Bible said there would be.

The Bible said when the Temple is built the Anti Christ will proclaim Himself God and He will have a clone of himself placed in the rebuilt Temple and demand the world to worship his clone. The Bible knew about clones long before we did.

The Bible states that one of the last battles on earth will be a battle for the control of Jerusalem. Just 80 years ago much of Jerusalem was a swamp. Yet the Bible knew that at the end, the whole worlds attention, would be focused on Jerusalem.

The Bible states that at the time of the end the kings of the East would raise up a 200 million man army to invade the Middle East. At the time of this writing it's doubtful there was that many people in the whole world. Yet in 1960, China from the East, was telling the world they could raise up an army of 200 million men. The same number found in the Bible.

This list could go on and on, but the point I'm making here is this. The Bible knows the future, and has much more to say about it. If this book was written by simple uninspired men, many of these facts, would not be facts at all. Because none of this would of been happening. You can only know these things if you know the future. The scriptures are divinely inspired, because only God knows the future.

 

The Words of the Bible speak the truth. And that truth can be seen in it's fulfilled prophecies which are vast and detailed. We have much more than words here, we have are future.

I am sure the counsel deleted those when they were constructing the final version.

 

And did the counsel know that a 1000 years latter the Jews would return to Israel and take southern Israel first as the Bible predicted, and take Jerusalem second as the Bible predicted. And did the counsel know that Jerusalems Old East Gate would have another Gate built on top of the Old Gate, and that Gate would remain sealed until the end of time, until the Prince to come would open it Himself, and that all attempts to open the Gate would end in failure. Did the counsel know that? And I might add, the oldest copies of the Old Testament were found in 1947. These copies are over 2,000 years old, and it is apparent, that counsel did not deleted anything from these copies. Because they match, the copies of our modern day Bibles.

If god made us all, and is in control of all our lives and knows what paths we're going to take, etc... why are there atheists in the world? Why are there diffrent religions? Why are two individual intrepertations of god of people of the same faith never the same?
