But India would not have force-fed Ghandi, and India is the last place that would force-feed ANYONE meat protein.....he was not in prison trying to get the muffins changed to pancakes for breakfast.

Ghandi was an educated man, trying to do something for for everyone else. His fast was not for selfish reasons, and yes, it WAS for attention. To get the attention of the world so they would listen to his powerful message.

I think he would be appalled to know that you have compared him to a petty thief who is being a baby because he didn't get what he wanted while being punished.
