I agree with RooR, exercise works wonders, even if I just take a walk I always feel healthier and full of energy. I find, the more I move, the better I feel.. leafy green veg to boost your iron (low iron levels can leave you very tired, I have anemia and have to take tablets for iron because my levels/blood pressure is naturally very low, but the more green veg I eat the better I feel).

Dark chocolate instead of milk/white/flavoured/whatever. You could even try switching regular cows milk to almond/or other nut type milk as these are much lower in fat (and it works wonders on your skin too if you get spots or anything like that, I found that high intakes of dairy really fucked my skin)

Blueberries are AWESOME natural anti oxidants, any type of berry really. As is Brocilli, spinach, carrots, tomatoes, garlic, red grapes.. green tea is good so its good your drinking that too already.

Sounds like you pretty much got it worked out:)

the thing about exercise though, is i walk constantly at work sometimes for 7-10 hours a day lol. im always moving around on my feet for the majority of my shift. So i think i need to run and not just walk.

I bought some organic milk today, it isnt pro hormone so thats good. Idk wat else is different about it. i also bought some carrots and celery.

I have been eating blueberries and rasberries quite a bit lately as well.
but the other day i found a fucking bee in one of the rasberries. I was like.. wat the fuck

Thank you for your input MP :)

Oh, also beans. Things like kidney beans, pinto beans etc, contain high anti oxidants. Chick peas are good for protein and can be added to sauces when cooking, or in curry, or in a salad.. if you like hummus you could use that as a dip for like carrots and stuff, you can get different flavours too (I dont like it plain but like some of the flavours).

Last but not least... Apples, I think red are higher in anti oxi's but could be wrong, and you cant go wrong with an apple instead of a bag of crisps or other processed/fatty snack :)

Once you get into the habit of eating mostly healthy/natural foods, it becomes much easier to 'kill off' the cravings you might get for fast food and stuff, I havent eaten mcdonalds in years now and where I used to walk past and want to run in and order fuckloads of food, I now see it and dont even think about looking through the window as I pass, let alone stepping foot inside to order, I find most of that stuff almost repulsive now I havent eaten it in ages.

With the exercise, its probably because you are at work, so are using the energy up gradually throughout the day. I think when you do 'structured' exercise or go for walks/runs outside, you tend to keep your energy more (I feel that way anyway), but at work your walking around all day and getting tired out.

yea hummus is alright. I might get some for the carrots because carrots by themselves dont taste to good to me, but they are bearable.

fast food was such a big part of my life, i ate it like every fucking day. I should have ad a heart attack when i was like 19. All I think about these past few days is fast food and pizza and stuff like that. It's so hard :(

I better get to sleep soon before I start fapping to the jack in the box menu

I still have the odd McD veggie burger or Breakfast every now and again. I don't eat much, anyway. So maybe I'm naturally starving myself. I'm also a veggie, which I think cuts out a lot of bad shit. Ready meals were my weakness. I don't have as many - if any - now.

I just got into a routine when I went shopping, and spent approx a 1//3 more than I needed to (less for 'bad' food).

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned cranberry juice.

I suck at cooking. I literally need someone to stand there and tell me step by step what to do, or i feel i mgonna do it wrong. I did see some organic/vegetarian pizzas at the health food store today though that looked pretty good. i got some veggie burgers there today.

MOAR anti oxidants!! I need lots of those :)

The thing that really upsets me the most though is that I have worked really hard in the gym for a long time and made very good progress. But now all that is going to waste. I've lost 5 pounds in the past week or so, i feel weaker, and if i continue this kind of diet i feel that i wont make any size or strength gains anymore. in order to do that you need to eat like 3,500 calories a day plus a shit load of protein and what not. Im sure I can figure out some diet to help with both things. I hope

Balanced diet. Fish and lean meat like chicken, especially turkey, are good and also high in protein. Loads of veg, loads of fruit, loads of water. You dont have to restrict yourself or force yourself, just try a healthy balance. Seeds and nuts too, they have protein (pumpkin seeds, almonds etc) and if you eat cereal you can sprinkle seeds on top so they just become part of that meal.

Listen to your body though, (unless forced to through work etc) dont restrict eatings times, eat when you are hungry, dont when you aren't, this also can boost metabolism. A lot of written diets wont work because they force you to eat at certain times which is unnatural and can confuse your metabolism.

I have a super fast metabolism. I dont like it. It makes me feel warm all the time, when everyone else is cold.
Thats mostly why i am doing this, my body feels gross. Always warm and i sweat when i shouldnt sometimes. Ive read that a abd diet can lead to this.

I have been eating wild alaskan salmon lately :) :)

  15. If you eat a good balanced diet your body will take care of itself!

you are losing weight because you are fasting, bro!

i get the impression that you are naturally skinny and could stand to gain 10 or more pounds. that's me...i'm 6'3" and only 150 lbs. i try to eat a lot but it doesn't stick. i don't lift weights though, i bike and go for walks, so i'm pretty active, but not to build muscle mass.

my point is - you can eat over 2000 calories per day in a healthy way. there is no reason to starve yourself for a few days to "detox." just switch to eating good foods (lots of veggies, fruits. lean meats, beans, and nuts.

i have a jar of raisins and plain unsalted peanuts (50/50) at work all the time. i eat it whenever i'm hungry. i also used to eat carrots with peanut butter everyday. watch out for partially hydrogenated oils in PB though. you have to get the expensive stuff that is mostly just peanuts.

i think i eat pretty healthy, but i'm not extreme about it. i still eat bread, cow's milk, cheese, red meat at least once a week. i could probably eat less sugar.

for breakfast i have multiple bowls of cereal (i try to get high fiber, low sugar stuff). i feel like eggs might be a better choice for me to put on weight, but i like cereal. and research on eggs is very controversial.

for lunch for the past 4 or 5 years i usually eat a turkey sandwich. i aim to get nitrate free lunch meat, and decent bread (basically just not white. sometimes i have like honey wheat that is probably not that good. whole grain is better than multi-grain.)

and for dinner my wife cooks me something awesome. chicken, fish (salmon is awesome and WILD is the way to go), sometimes beef, but ground turkey is really good too. we eat a decent amount of pasta...

alright, i'm not sure that you care about my personal diet, but there you have it.

you seem to love antioxidants...vitamins C and E are great ones. blueberries are one of the best antioxidant foods.

and Raw honey is supposedly like a miracle food. and it's delicious

Dont bother detoxing, make small gradual changes that you can stick to forever.....its not good to stress the body out by eliminating foods that your only going to reintroduce again after a period of time.

Eat plenty of fresh food if you can afford it, cut down on the booze and fast food and drink plenty of water, your body will love exercise and another good tip is to buy a body brush (about 3 quid) which you use all over your skin and it helps clean out toxins from your body and lymph nodes. Google it to see how to use as there is a special method though.

yea i am naturally a tad skinny. I am 6'0-6'1 and last week i weighed 181 pounds but now im down to 175 :(

I think im gonna do this fasting thing just for one last day today. I just really wanna clear all that shit outta my body. I might eat a protein bar or something for some energy.

I head penut butter is pretty unhealthy so i might get some organic penut butter.
