If you're still at this forum, Flowerian, I can just tell you, that I feel excactly the same about that movie. It's so typical - Hollywood-movies are in danish cinemas the week after premier in the states, but european movies takes half a year, before someone puts some subtitles on and send it into danish cinemas... but now I've finally seen it. Bruno Ganz is amazing as Hitler. And I love the way the scene shifts between Hitlers bunker beneath the surface of Berlin, and reality in Berlin, in which the russians move closer and closer, while Hitler get more and more mad and disillusioned in his bunker, commanding his generals to move military units that don't even exist anylonger, but no one dare to tell him the truth!!!... Amazing film! - I've never seen such a quiet audience after the end of a movie in a cinema. I don't remember last time I've been touched that heavily by a movie in a cinema. love and understanding, noose.
