hahahahaha that is the most true thing i've ever heard. i agree, brady isn't at all what he used to be. The new young defense isn't helping out either, but hey gotta wish for the best. Atleast we aren't Rams fans.
Brady looked good this weekend. But that doesn't matter 6-0 Kiddies LT ain't go shit! Neither does PR. He spent a lot of time on the turf tonight Two weeks and we'll roll the ravens
LT is a shadow of his former self :toetap05: As for my patriots, they’re far superior to the broncos; Brady missed dozens of wide open receivers during the game because he still (until this last weekend) doesn’t have his head screwed on quite right Hotwater
It's kinda early man. There are always teams who start out undefeated and never do anything playoff times.
are you dumb? the patriots might have clobbered the titans, but who hasn't this year? And blame brady all you wan't, he's you quarterback so if he cant throw passes it still means your team sucks
I'm still not convinced on the Broncos and Saints. It's like last years Titans, let's see how you do when it's late December and playoff time. I hope the Texans can keep improving and somehow make the playoffs, they had a good win against an overrated but decent Cincinnati Bengals team. They are just the most inconsistent team in football.
Having an 0-1 season record head to head tends to belie the "far superior" conclusion. I wouldn't read too much into Sunday's victory over Tennessee- that was a bad win- very bad. The main danger being the team beginning to think it's better than it really is and not being as mentally prepared for next week's game. Let's see how the Patriots do against a playoff bound team before declaring superiority. Bottom line is that the Broncos are 6-0; the Patriots are 4-2. If this is an indicator of how the season will unfold the New England gets a playoff game during wild card week while Denver enjoys a bye week. Then assuming they win, the Pats face either Indianapolis or Denver and be the underdog- and for good reason. I think they'd have a slightly better chance against the Broncos- but only slightly- and since I'd expect the Colts to hand them their asses I'd wager the Broncos will represent a closer loss for New England... leaving Denver and Indianapolis to face each other in the conference championship.
you cannot deny a team with the best defense in the league.. they just need to stay healthy.. as for the Saints.. the past years.. including this year is "out score your opponent and we'll win" but the minute a team keys in on their offense.. they are done
Ya Mike Nolan has done a hell of a job for them. I think they will most likely lose their next two games to Baltimore and Pittsburgh though. Minnesota and Indy are looking Super Bowl bound to me.
Minnesota needs to tighten up the secondary... they almost fuckin lost last week... not to mention most QBs have been throwing almost 400yrds against them.. but our defensive line is beyond spectacular.. by far the best line hands down in the NFL
you are laughable, at best. Did you even watch the game? Brady wasn't the great Tom I suck dick Brady not because his head isn't screwed on right. The Broncos D were all in face. Your O line is pathetic anymore as we've previously discussed. Superior? better overall record, better head to head record, higher league rankings in more key categories. Fool.
It is early I agree. That's why I've spoken about what's been done not the future (with the exception of record prediction and our next game). However, ~95% of teams that start 6-0 make the playoffs. Broncos did win the super bowl last time they did it but those players and coaches are long gone thats irrelevant in 2009
The Broncos have proved me (and everyone) wrong and I think they are completely legitimate contenders this year. They straight up beat us, and as long as we don't play them in the playoffs I love Josh Mcdaniels and I'm rooting for him to do well. Our O line played fine against Denver. Tom Brady was the one to blame for that loss, not the linemen. I don't think anyone who has watched this unit for more than a game would call the line "pathetic". Brady had more than enough time to make easy throws that he simply missed. Thankfully he made up for it by setting a few new records this sunday, and I think Tom Terrific is finally almost back to form, which is bad news for the rest of the NFL. Plus the jets have lost 3 straight!
