i had originally wanted at $800 with 0.50 carat total weight
then i found but its only offered in simulation diamonds... i could have them manufacture the band w/ fake diamonds in teh band and an open hole for a 0.50ct diamond for about $400, but then id still have to buy a diamond and have it put in.

then i found which is much prettier in real life than the picture makes it seem to be, and its 900 but comes with a wedding band (wedding band id been planning on with the first ring is 200, so in the end this is probably the cheapest option)

the option im exploring with taht simulation one is to put a real diamond into the setting that they offer, because i think the setting is freaking gorgeous
