I don't see that guy anymore... Pain docs around here drug test even when prescribing non-narcotics. Even though I would test clean because I don't have any smoke it's the principal of the thing.

I'm not taking anything for pain, generally they don't work anyways. I'll accept Gabapentin because it has the least side effects and "you have to be taking something" but it's not really doing anything. My pain scale goes to 12... What I call a 3-5 is actually 5-7. Fuck it... You get used to it over the years, but it never does go away.

This happens to me a lot. The ads on the sides of site pages are scarily accurate as well. I often wonder if some random computer tech working in another country knows everything about me. But what company does he work for....

 

I asked my family doc for something for the pain (RA as well) and he gave tramacet (tramadol + tylenol) with a dozen refills. I guess he trusts me.

I think you're right, that it is harder for women to get painkillers. Medical professionals have a history of not acknowledging women's issues - you're all just hysterical, not in real pain

I asked my rheumatologist about weed but he won't do it. if our new PM doesn't hurry up and legalize, I might seek out a doc for my medical card. seems like a waste to pay $300 or so for that, though, since I only go through a gram every couple of weeks now. $300 could last me a year.

Yeah its much creepier than that. Sometimes even stuff related to what I type here on HF pops up in ads. It isn't just things I search for.
