Yeah, my miss wants the second GSD, I want to travel again first.

 

I've been spending a good bit of time talking to my friend that "worked for the state" (in prison) for 21 yrs. He is doing pretty good actually. Even though he still is having to wear an ankle monitor (he got out several years early) it is still wonderful for him to be out.

He should have never had to spend that kind of time...but that's a moot point now.

He even made money while inside and has a nice car.

As much as I gripe about here, I honestly cannot imagine the immense unfairness of the last 21 yrs of his life. He has an extremely good attitude, and of course thinks I'm funny.

I feel like I could learn a lot from him...

 

You don't even get 21 years for murder in some countries. And even though it's prison you have the internet and other luxuries. The punishment is you can not leave unless it's for a job. Something they encourage you to get so you are ready when you can leave. The US could learn a lot from that.

dog is whining to go out and chase deer....there was so many deer in the fields surrounding my house at dinner that i didn't post the number because it would have sounded ...sounded like bull i guess......but lets ust say there was a hundred just out my kitchen window in one direction....they were in every field today because it warmed up...dog hears them crunching i the snow out in the yard

I dunno how I'll go, but.. you'll hear about it playing a super good team.

 

He is smarter than your average bear and had a job within the system doing payroll, and other computer things...but I can promise you there was no internet there. The internet and phones were considered contraband.

He was there on a trumped up (yeah pun is applicable there lol) charge and was supposed to do 27 yrs. NOBODY was killed...in fact he only took back what was stolen from him AFTER the law told him where it was. lol Yeah - he even went and made a report about his house getting broken into and basically having EVERYTHING taken. He wouldn't wear a wire to help the law do their damn jobs when they thought they could or would talk him into it. His lawyer basically sold him down the river and I learned beyond the shadow of a doubt what sorry demons MANY of the law can be.

That being said - I am not one for anarchy and understand we need laws in this country...hell we need laws everywhere! However, the law enforcement needs to be revamped though - just my opinion.
