I couldn't stand the ridiculousness of that show Passions. I'd walk past the tv on the way to the kitchen and there would be some crazy woman talking to a dummy on the couch. Apparently, this dummy would come alive and be a midget that flew through people's windows or something. Yeah, ok then.
i used to listen to passions when i was at work. the sound of it reminded me of being little when my dad watched them while he was home on leave. very soothing. and frankly, passions was HILARIOUSLY BAD. i never actually saw the show, though. i hate all daytime tv. makes me cranky. however, i did a soap opera stint when i was in the 6th grade and got chicken pox.
Way behind..Never heard of 'Passions'... I just rented Homicide from Netflix though. It used to be on A&E. Aside from that, the television hasn't been on in at least six months. Every once in awhile someone has to call me with something they saw on the local news.
I think that little dummy was called Timmy. He used to be played by some 20+ year old midgit who died so they replaced him with a dummy. :/
My great grandmother has alzheimer's, she's watched so much Young and Restless she asks for the characters at family functions... as if they are real people and they're supposed to show up in her house. I watched the ABC soap opera's as a kid. I was so addicted to General Hospital in high school, that I wrote a spoof of it with a friend of mine in creative writing... But I haven't watched a soap in a few years. It's great not having a t.v. you really don't miss it. But when you have one, it feels like hell when you miss one episode of Project Runway. lol I mostly watch movies though. I don't know most of the television stations at all.
