may 21st is usually when the Sun goes into 0 degrees 0 minutes 1 degree
in 1950 it fell on the 20th
in 2048 it falls on the 22nd
in 1963 it was on the 22nd
in 1966 it fell on the 22nd, 1967
    in 1968 it fell on the 21, 1969, 1970

Some people say that it should be about 25 degrees in Taurus until it changes. Others say about -2 degrees. In this case that would be about 28 Taurus.

Personally, I tend to think that -7 degrees when it is in wintertime and -2 when in summertime due to the rotation / tilt of the Earth. Therefore Springtime would be about minus 4-5 degrees and fall would be minus 3-4 degrees. I say this because the planets tend to spread out in the winter and they tend to bunch up in the summer. The other problem is that cusps can have no overlap or some overlap.

white feather, what's your take on the energy of the cusps? i've got six planets that sit within 90 minutes of a cusp (four at the end of a sign, and two at the very beginning), two others are close to the cusp by a few degrees, at the end of the sign. it's only my sun & venus that sit safely within a sign, sun at 10 degrees (gemini) and venus at 9 degrees (cancer). that's a hell of alot of cusp energy. i wonder about the cumulative effect of all this. i suffer from periodic bouts of melancholia: a sort of 'the carnival is over' kind of thing and i wonder if it's connected to that. any thoughts?

We are like cusp sisters, lol. I'm April 19th. So technically i'm the last day of Aries, but often times I feel like a blend of aries/taurus. And I definetely fit many of the traits you yourself outlined.

And look at that, we're on the same day! lol.

thanks 4 that white feather. it's always good to get another opinion. yes neptune sits between saturn and pluto which are square to each other causing a good deal of friction as u can imahine (i have a grand cross). neptune is relatively unafflicted, bar a square to uranus. and has a nice trine to the moon which compensates. neptune is also a personal planet and my chart has a strong piscean theme. i think alot of the melancholy comes from here like u say. pluto is also strong, the moon sits in the 8th house, and he is conjunct jupiter in the grand cross, so both planets are strong. anyway, i'm purging as much of the sadness as i can, through meditation. that's been a big help.

hey psyche....i too am april 20th!!!!
i definately feel connected to both the earthy taurus & the fiery ram! it's difficult being a cusp-born, sometimes hard to find good info that 'fits' us

to whitefeather, thanks for all the links
do you know of anyone that does good personalized charts (not too expensive) & i'd rather support an individual than a corporation! i'm going thru quite a transformation right now & could use some guidance....

I'm a Scorpio/Sagitarius cusp, born on November 21, 1986. Can someone hook me up with info about my cusp? I've found some cool stuff, but want to read some more!

i was also born on the 20th of april, i definately see more taurus qualities in myself, yet the aries in me definately shows when im PMSing, or arguing, or pissed. i can tend to be a little controlling and headstrong, and also stubborn. hehheh

Take the U.S. and Mexico. Going from one country to another is a new world. You're either Mexican or American. If you were a Pisces born on March 19, you could very well have your Mercury and/or Venus in Aries and that's the part that makes you feel you're more Arian or Pisces. But, if you were born on that date AND you have no other placements in Aries, then there should be no Arian influence whatsoever. It goes for all the other signs. Or you could have your Moon or Mars or your Acendant in the sign that you border on. That creates the confusion. And you don't have to be born on the cusp to experience that confusion. You could be ANY sign with 2 or 3 placements in the previous or following sign and you might see more of the characteristics of those other signs. You have to go beyond the Sun sign, although I'm a great proponent of living through your sun sign. As Linda Goodman once said: The divine mission is to try and always live up to the ESSENCE of our sun sign. And there's the negative and positive expressions of ANY sign and we all want to be good ambassadors to our signs. If you only live out the negative expression of your sign then you give that sign a bad reputation i.e. Leo's always have to be the center of attention, Librans are lazy and procrastinating, Cancerians are extremely selfish, Sagittarians are the most promiscuous, etc. etc. My Dad was a Leo who was always living out the negative expression of that sign and to today, all someone has to tell me is they are a Leo and immediately I think of my Dad as being very dictatorial (Leo predominates in the charts of dictators) and never happy unless he was the center of attention and potentially very cruel. I could say that about any sign of the zodiac, those members living out the negative expressions of their signs.
