this song was popular when I very first started partying (going to raves), but then playing popular songs wasn't really the 'vibe' for raves at that time; at least not from what I understood, which was relatively little I suppose. I was soo into drugs that the music was really secondary. Anyway, if you went to a club at that time (late '99) then you most likely heard the track above. It was also part of the soundtrack to a movie, "Groove" which was in theaters the following summer (2000). That is actually more likely when the song took off.

Did you ever hear this one out? This was probably the first electronic song where I thought something really unique was going on with electronic music.

I had heard and liked stuff like Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy prior to this and of course Sandstorm but this somehow captivated me in a way more than those, which I perceived as like stadium anthem type songs. I believe it was released in 99 as well and I know Sasha and Digweed collaborated.

listening now. I've seen the album before; at Best Buy I think, but many years ago. I don't think I ever listened to it before. I consider them to be pioneers, along with the likes of say Christopher Lawrence, Paul Oakenfold, or like Dj Dan is for house. Dang, I wish I could think of better famous DJs to put into that list!

I do know this song... I don't know where I recognize it from, but as soon as the synth (pad?) with the delay comes in I instantly recognize it. Hmm. I can't figure our which album I owned that had this on it.

EDIT: found it. It's on Sasha's Global Underground: Ibiza.

Track 5 disc two. It was a good album. :D

I like the song! Thanks for playing that!
