I have always found this topic to be kind of funny.
A woman can wear men's clothing and no one calls her a cross dresser. But let a guy wear women's clothing and BOOM magically they are cross dressers. It is common for women to wear different men's items- IE shirts and ties. Tee shirts, Men's work boots etc Is there a double standard ? Yes there is.

 

I have been a cross dresser since I was ten years old, it is true that I occasionally become aroused when 'dressed up', and relieved myself. However, while I used wear women's clothes occasionally as an outward expression of the woman trapped inside me, that woman has now been released and I am now a transwoman.

 

What do you think about cis men who wear a broad range of clothes, including skirts and dresses, just because they feel both masculine and feminine? I don't wear skirts, dresses, and form-fitting jeans to get sexually aroused. I wear them to experience and express my femininity when that needs to be expressed, which is about half of the time. At other times, I need to express my masculinity. My girlfriend has the same need to express both masculinity and femininity, and that is one of the main reasons why we have been such great friends for so long.

Is there space on this transgender forum for non-binary people like us? We sincerely experience the entire gender spectrum, and sometimes I hear rigid people say, "Make up your mind." I was not whole until I accepted that I am almost equally masculine and feminine, so it feels foolish to me that I would have to "choose sides".

I sometimes wear lingerie for sexual activity, but also wear lingerie under my mens clothes when shopping and other outside activities, I also have dresses and strappy heels. But only ever wear them in private. I don't want to be a women or go out in public dressed as a women, I just love the feel of women's clothes on my skin and how I look wearing them, I've been doing this for 60 years since a was 13, so I'm not sure what I would be classed as, my avitar is me taken a few days ago
