The problem is that government ministers are not doctors and therefore clueless when it comes to medical issues. Doctors guide them, but by the time that they make an announcement, all the speech writers have changed the entire context. Then when they are questioned, they just make it up as they go along. The same is true of hospital design. Would any doctor heard infectious patients into the same building as people undergoing cardiac surgery and women delivering babies. They have just become breeding grounds for viruses and pathogenic bacteria. Energy saving by recirculating part of the air have made things even worse. The UKs leading cancer hospital now uses nuclear radiation in the air supply to the theatres. It cost millions.
My father, at an age of 59, has corona. He is as healthy as he could be. Dont you think corona is so exeggerated?
The only risk with any serious virus is when it overwhelms the ICU units in the hospitals that save lives when a small percentage of sufferers require specialist antibiotics and/or ventilation. This is the point that has been so poorly explained to the public. It is getting better, but we are getting confused when people are advising us without explaining the reasons. This was my point in the comment that you are replying to. Some people DO need medical help in order to save their lives, so we just have to slow the virus down. It is as simple as that. Here in the UK, the death rate is up by 2.7% from the AVERAGE. This is fairly normal during ANY serious virus. The alarmist figures are because people don't realize that 1,500 people die every day, They are blaming corona, even when it is not the PRIMARY cause of death. Therefore, when you add corona death figures to the primary death figures, (which you should not do) people are dying twice.
