I read it, it's fairly useless, a phone survey of 259 people self reporting symptoms, with no break down of what those symptoms are

I would not feel anything when I had it so I would still not know it. Considering I would not feel anything and they would not make any test on me.

I did my best to get corona.

Your head must be getting as sore as mine trying to explain this to people.

As you mentioned, 95% of us die when a virus takes over, allowing pathogenic bacteria to destroy our lungs of kidneys in the final hours. If we somehow managed to destroy every virus on the planet, we would not live forever. Our worn out limbs and organs would finally fall apart and many of us would have a long and painful death.

I had it. I didn't get it nearly as bad as most people. Couple of friends had it also and all survived.

Because COVID-19 is a new disease, much about the clinical course remains uncertain—in particular, the possible long-term health consequences, if any.

Question is, if Covid doesn't get you, the vaccine will. Depends on what you read, some say there will be serious side effects from the vaccine. If I take the vaccine, My decision may come from a coin toss. If it is ever available.

Can you cite even one reputable source to support that?

Thanks. We're thankful to get through it. My ordeal wasn't over. Caught strep 2 weeks later.

Post-vaccine side effects can include soreness at the site of injection, a low-grade fever, headaches, muscle aches and fatigue. These effects can last around 12 to 36 hours after injection. These issues appeared in only about 5% to 15% of participants.

Used correctly, the vaccine will do a lot to protect the most vulnerable people and stop the excess death rate.
Here in the UK, it's use is being strictly controlled to achieve that end, but I am not sure about the rest of the world.

A secondary pathogenic bacterial attack is not uncommon after a nasty virus, Hopefully you got the necessary medical help fast.

I did. I was put on antibiotics for 10 days. Lost 45lbs for being sick twice.

It happens all the time, often following a heart attack or severe kidney infection. In 95% of cases the antibiotics work without the need for ventilation.

This is why it is vital for covid not to overwhelm the ICU units and specialist doctors.
If this was explained properly to the public, almost everyone would follow the guidelines to prevent covid and future serious viruses from spreading too fast.

Even routine restrictions, such as wearing a mask on public transport and in crowded shops during the cold and virus seasons would save all the disruption, loss of business and unnecessary deaths.
It may become a routine way of life in the future, with no one giving it a second thought.

Can any thing we read be reputable? I have read both ways, and no I don't know which is right and which is not, That's why I said it would be a coin toss.

Yes. Not all opinions are created equal. That would be like saying that your uncle Phil would be just as competent as a board-certified heart surgeon because he's so adept at carving a turkey.
