I have a personal grudge against CCR. In the summer of '69 a promoter was trying to get them to play in Winnipeg - but they refused: they said they were too good to play in a little hick town like Winnipeg. So the promooters got Led Zepplin to play instead with the Youngbloods opening for them. Musically speaking, CCR were good but their attitude wasn't.
