it will do what it will do. it probably won't take a big bite out of human population, percentage wise, but there will be a lot of very unhappy ghosts, who wouldn't have died if don panoccio hadn't had his head up his ass for a couple of months, and will haunt him wherever he tries to sleep. it isn't the unknown we need to fear: it is the hatred of logic and consideration. honesty too. hype or no hype, a lot of people will come down with it and a lot of people will die. more then that, it is almost pointless to attempt to predict. you can deny the existence of a wall, when there is no light to see it with, but doing so won't let you walk through it without opening a door.
Every once a while there is a virus from which they say people die. No one I know dies. I dont pay attention to any virus shit, myself.
The death rate is actually higher for coronavirus than the flu. More people have died from the flu, yes. It's not a novel virus, though. This has been Health Watch.
This whole thing has shown me Hollywood is right and people are selfish and stupid in a time of crisis. I've seen so many movies where something is coming. Zombies, a plague, a natural disaster. The scientists warn people and people try to help but in the end it's ME ME ME and free market Capitalism . Because people only care for their family and refuse to be inconvenienced the problem is made worse. Eventually people start to think that everyone is lying to them. Eventually they steal all the supplies. The people most likely to get sick and die also now believe it's not real. Not to make it political but should so many of these people with the same opinion die in the next few months it makes 2020 interesting. The GOP is literately killing its voters because admitting that a problem out of control happen under dear leader hurts more than death. America is not prepared for this. It's more then the flu and because it costs thousands to go to a doctor no one will get checked. Chances are you are fine anyway. Fox told you so.
The coronavirus panic has started around here. The city of Paducah cancelled its annual Easter Egg hunt. Just the tip of the iceberg no doubt. "The City of Paducah Parks and Recreation Department has cancelled the 2020 Easter Eggstravaganza which was scheduled to take place at the end of the month. "The annual Easter Eggstravaganza was supposed to take place on March 30 at Noble Park and typically attracts more than 1,000 participants and adults. A press release from the City of Paducah says the event was cancelled due to concerns voiced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding the coronavirus. "'We do not want to do anything that could tend to exacerbate the possibility of spreading the coronavirus in our community,' said Parks and Recreation Director Mark Thompson. 'Bringing more than 1,000 of our friends and neighbors together in relatively close quarters for the Easter Eggstravaganza could do just that.'” West Kentucky Star - News
I think it’s dumb that everyone is buying up all the TP and water. What am I gonna do when I run out? Go from store to store until I find some?
its a crap shoot, but i'd laugh my ass off if don panoccio kicked the bucket from it. even if i was dying from it myself at the time. or maybe even especially if i was.
With Capt trips were also dark forces at work such as Randall Flagg (or his real name Walter Padick) Who will turn out to the Coronavirus equivalent of Randall Flagg? We shall see.
is doing laundry a coronavirus thing? i wash my clothes at the same time every sunday morning, and usually i'm the only person in my apartment's laundry room at that time. today trying to get a machine was like trying to buy toilet paper.
