9 months, ha, Sorry but not everyone lives in Shangri la. It is said we have two seasons here in New England, 6 months of Winter, and 6 months of really poor sledding..lol..
The illness is a real one. Don't know if you ever saw people you knew get the swine flu. But it's similar but more deadly.
People need to remember that there are good ways of dealing with the germs of anything. This is why there are so many people panicking over this. Germs. You need to ask yourself this simple question. Do you wash your hands after using the toilet? If not you could be spreading more germs about because of simply not washing your hands after pissing or shitting.
My parents have only just come back from an overseas trip and they got sick. They both ended up getting gastro which is another illness that is germ related. Treat the coronavirus the same way as you do with any other illness. Wash your hands after going to the toilet, cutting up food, and patting animals. If you are coughing and sneezing use the crook of your elbow if you have no mask. Stay at home when you are sick. Disinfect everything after you have been ill or have had illness go through your place. Make sure that you get a cleaner in.
Gastro can come from the planes too as the gasses in your digestive system act up at higher altitudes. I looked into that when I was travelling in America because I noticed I was very bloated feeling after airplane.
I get more conscious about washing my hands whenever flu season comes around. But I don’t let the fear of it freak me out. This is how I’ll treat the current Coronavirus spread. Having had the flu 2-3 times before, i don’t want to ever go through it again. Just take the precautions and be mindful, not fearful.
Why do people think they'll need bottled water and TP in a pandemic anyways? Do they think the municipal water supply will become contaminated? Do they think the coronavirus is a gastrointestinal illness that will increase the demand for toilet paper? I have so many questions
Looks like the CDC wanted to warn the old not to fly. Official: White House didn't want to tell seniors not to fly I've been on planes before with a bunch coughing people coughing before. That said, flights are cheap right now, seems like a good time. I wouldn't fly with the lepers in coach though.
I thought lots of people don't drink tap water. So yeah, they always buy bottled water and now think if they don't stock up they could run out. Same with the TP essentially It's not that they think they need more, they just fear they can't get it later
it exists. the numbers look scary. they are also a tiny percentage of population. so it isn't going to save us from the locust effect of how many of us there are. yes it is a problem. like most problems, too little will be done too late because of our consensus of illogical priorities. it is a shot fired across our bow, by a nature warning us of the illogic of our priorities. it has a higher mortality rate then most other similar diseases with which we are more familiar. by itself, it isn't the end of the world. unfortunately.
