Pretty good. Working a lot, dealing with ligistics of getting my mom back to pittsburgh.

 

most of the workers i've seen at the zoo the last time i went were young kids.
do they all have to work their way up the ladder and stuff? some of them looked really young.

life just got a whole lot more interesting

 

I just got back from a nice 2hr mtn bike ride with a burn session thrown in there with my brother. It was sooo nice out, 70's and not humid a nice breeze and minimal clouds.

 

zoo camp would be some fun!

 

Most of the kids there do shit work like food service, clean up and grounds crew. Im the youngest who actually works with animals. And if they were in pale-green shirt, there the ones who i have the pleasure of teaching.

 

ohhh i see, yeah that was probably it.
i guess we got a head honcho on our hands here! lol

 

so when you say you work in research i conclude that generally covers working with the animals

when you say you work in education, what exactly does that mean? are you teaching others basically the stuff you research?

I majored in political science and minored in history.

I wear dress pants (like suit pants not dockers), and during the winter a button down during the summer a polo shirt. Meetings with certain clients require ties/sport coats. But since all my clients are contractors, most of them don't like ties. And of course Friday is casual day.

same here.. i'm majoring in spanish
people are always like wtf are you going to do with THAT?

 

i'm pretty sure you can do a lot more with a degree in spanish than a creative writing/religious studies degree

spanish is a fuckin hot as degree to have right now. For the most part it doesn't matter what your degree is in, especially if you took some courses to round out your knowledge pool. Most people in my industry have finance, economics, business yada yada. I studied congress and towelheads. Companies just want to see the discipline of college. They all know college is just a time to take lots of drugs and have tons of unprotected sex...I graduated and with it went the unprotected sex.

good luck with your major, though. that sounds like it would be pretty hard to find a job with that major, but hey.. if there weren't any jobs out there for those majors, i don't think they would be majors, would they?

I hate it when my dealer is late. Im sitting outside his apartment complex waiting for his ass to get here. picking up 3/4 o of sour D and Hp of middies.. wish he'd hurry his ass up.
