yeah your saying you'd rather wear glasses if you had too, uh uh glasses are the biggest pains in the asses makes life alot harder
heres why

1. Harder to kiss
2. If your " cuddling " and your face to face, if you turn your head, guess what glasses slap to the face.
3. If you lay down you cant lay down sideways and watch tv
4. foggyness
5. the feeling of somethings always there and only able to see a certain circle you can notice the top and the bottom if you have good parrifeal vision
6. if your playing a sport, ball to the face a. hurts 3 times more b breaks 200 dollar glasses you sir are fuckered.

Non glasses advantages for contacts:
Can lay any which way when in bed
Can cuddle with people just fine
dont have to worry about getting hit in the face and losing them

bad things
Having to take them out and put them in ( gets old as fuck )
not being able to see without them in ( you adapt because you feel like its normal vision )
Dryness
Stigmatisms
Red eye,
if you fall asleep they hurt your eyes
if your stupid like me you dont neutrialize solution with poroxide in them, and inevidibley burn your eyes with it, and make them foam, while the contact is still glued to your eye and you expierence the worst pain of your life
if your at a party, and end up crashing there you dont want to sleep with contacts in
but if you take them out
you have nothing to keep them in, so its a very hard decision on throw them out or keep them in and risk it and nobody wants to carry a case EVERYWHERE sucks hard core.

Anyways good sides bad sides, smoking yes better with glasses on, not smoking contacts, visine, rohoto work well

 

I wear contacts, and my eyes do get red and dry when I smoke. I put my solution in and that works for a little while, but Visine fucks them up.
I just have to deal with it.
I wish I had a nice pair of glasses to wear every now and then, but I don't.

 

Yeah thats exactly why I wear contacts, its the lesser of two evils in most cases. Plus glasses look really bad on me, so that won't work haha.

The main reason that made me switch was for hockey. Contacts helped m peripheral vision a ton and my playing immediately improved.

I plan on getting laser eye surgery as my next major purchase after my car because later in life I plan on living in the wilderness, which is very hard to do if you have to worry about glasses (contacts are out of the question in the wild- too much hassle). Also I remember how great it was to have 20/20 vision when I was a kid, I could see everything and could just wake up wherever, jump out of bed and run out the door with no second thought.

 

My contacts used to always bother me, but that was when I used to take them out every night and clean them out. Nowadays I just wear my contacts for a whole month and sleep in them and than switch to the next months set. I know lots of people that do this and it works fine, plus now my contacts don't bother me unless there almost a month old because they get streched or something.

 

i have those contacts that you can wear for a month......they kickass

 

It doesn't matter if you don't believe in them cause they are still true. It's great that you're happy and whatever, but you have to remember that you're still very young. Haven't lived your life AT ALL. I just find it very sad when young girls get pregnant at a young age. I was young too, and still am. And I HATE that I had a child. It would be MUCH easier to go to college, start the career that I want, and find someone without a child. But what's done is done, and you can't change that. So whatever.. the others on this thread think I'm being judgmental, but I'm just being truthful.

 

i dont regret it at all. im glad that i had a child she is everything.

 

I don't regret it either, and I wouldn't take it back. I LOVE jade with all of my heart and soul. She means the world to me, and her life is so precious. But I just can't help but to realize that man would life had been so easy if I just listened to my fucking parents. You know? But like I said before.. What's done is done, for the both of us. I do think you're being judgmental, truthful or not. Greenbaby has been there, and done that. I'm sure she knows everything you've told her, I mean, she was there.......
No need to rub it in. And she seems to be happy with her life. So more power to her!

 

Stop being such a bitch man. God, you're such a downer. Freakin' allow the girl to believe in herself and stop bringing her down just because you didn't end up perfect. You've both said your piece and you keep coming back after she settles it.
I don't think of you as judgmental, I just think you're one of those people who won't allow others to get away with a mistake or two since you didn't.

I understand what you are saying. And i understand that you want me to know that things might not turn out the way i want them to,i know there is a good chance of that happening. Everyday im thankful for my child and everyday im thankful for her father to still be with me. I know we might not be together for a long time (yes it would be nice) but as of right im just happy of how things are. I do however want to thankyou for telling me your point of view. So thank you.
