Confused..

well, again i don't wanna be negative
every situation is different and everybody is different
basically though, it's very easy to appear to be a certain person online
to say all the right things and to build yourself up as someone you may not actually be
in real life though things are different, you are who you are
the illusion crumbles
so this guy may be exactly who he has made himself out to be and he may not
in my experience he was not at all
but other people have had different experiences than i have
it's rare but every once in a while an internet relationship has actually turned into something real and valid
again, listen to your heart and trust your instincts
you'll never know for sure until you try right

 

Well like simplistic said the webcam idea is good even if i can just see him... you know, if he matches the pictures thats on his fb that would make me more sure...

My instincts are telling me to go for it but also be cautious... like im not gunna completely drive down there straight to his house...

 

Again, meet first several times. If you still like him, make him go where you want to go.

Yea, like he was saying that he wanted to go to NJ for his college and i was like no i want to move to colorodo and he was like ok.. we can do that and he started telling me about a awesome hippy college in colorodo..

Well thanks.. other than webcam and actually meeting him i can't think of any other ways to be 100% sure that he is who he is.

And we will have to stick to communication on the phone and comp til i graduate and we are supposedly graduating at the same time and he ever told me about the school that he goes too and whatnot.. so i'll have plenty of time to get to know him and stuff...

he really seems to be who he says he is, but don't be too niave girl. he's a nice kid and all, but idunno. he creeps a lil.

but he is legitimately who he says he is. he was at the phish concert in chicago, and saw connor there. so, he is who he says, i believe.
