Collecting

That's cool. I almost started collecting firetrucks because at the thrift store toy section every other toy was a different kind of fire truck, and Ryland has recently decided he's gonna be a fireman when he grows up, so I ALMOST filled a cart full of fire trucks, but I thought it would be better not to.

why ambulances?

 

I don't have a good enough camera. If I can get a decent shot, I will when I have batteries, but my camera is super low resolution and a quarter is pretty small.

Edit- I collect ambulances because I've absolutely loved ambulances since I was a little kid for some weird fucking reason, lol. I've got this weird hospital thing...I'm obsessed with hospitals. No matter how worried I am, if a loved one is sick and I have a chance to go to the hospital with them or to visit them, I do, because I get a thrill out of hospitals. I have as long as I can remember, and ambulances are like...moving hospitals and I think that is cooler than shit. My dream car is a '69 Cadillac station wagon ambulance.

 

I'd collect miniature hospitals if they were easy to obtain.

 

For Years I Collected "Converse High Top" Canvas Basketball Boots....

Even Got A Firm To Import Some From The U.S That Were Not Sold Here.

Ended Up With About 35 Pairs, And No Two Were The Same Colour.

Occasionally I Check The Converse Site, And So Far Three Pairs I Have

Are Considered Collectable And Increasing In Value...:2thumbsup:.

The Only Downside To This Collection Is.............Some Years Ago I Decided To

Become A Full Time "Barefooter"....

a guess* I Collected "Speedo's" Of All Colours, Cuts, And Sizes,

Haven't Bought Any For 5years, But At

Last Count I Had About 80-90 Pairs Including The First Ones I Ever Bought.

The Only Downside To This Collection Is........................ I'm A Nudist....

I have never started a collection. They have always been gifts. In each case, I bought one that I liked and then everyone added to them. I honestly never intended to collect.

Currently they have not been unpacked from my last move.

 

Yaay! I only have one pair of high-tops, the other three are low-tops, but those are my favorite shoes evvvvver.

I Started Wearing Them Long Before Nike And Addidas Were Invented.

They Originally Came Out In 1917, Using Black Rubber, Blue Canvas, And Copper Rivits.

I Have Two "Replica" Pairs Of These, One In Blue, And The Other Which Was Released

2 Years Later In A Dull Shade Of Red.

Back In 1917 They Did Not Have White Rubber.

How I Would Like To Have The Originals Rather Than The Replicas.

The Replicas Are Increasing In Value, But Imagine What A Pair Of Originals

Would Be Worth Today....
