Yeah , I need to ring this guy Storms up, he lives about 3 miles from me. Nice digs too..... but a basement??? no one has basements around here... most of cost him a small fortune to blast a basement out here ..lives about a mile from my sister. pretty sure that's the guy I read about in the paper here awhile back. Another interesting person is ; http://www.santafenewmexican.com/Pr...l-Laboratory-Scientists-seek-storage-options- him I know from way back... a motorcycle buddy.. the guy has more patents than god I hear you on the man made effect... yeah we aren't totally responsible, but we are kicking in our fair share ... just in US gasoline use we are putting over a million tons of crap into the atmosphere everyday!!...even a cat gets it's litter box clean every once in awhile. The space shuttle ...cool as it is.. is a environmental pig... We are going to reach a point sometime and probably sometime soon.. the point of no return and this beautiful blue ball is going to be rotten. Thanks for firing me up some cozmo. I really need to start doing some things that are more productive.
I am very impressed by your friend Migliori's research at Los Alamos, WHM...His ideas on renewable energy storage and decentralizing the power supply are right on point and it is my hope that men of his caliber will demand to be heard over the hype of 'green' going on right now, as they are working to offer practical solutions that can be realistically implemented. If you get in touch with Storms, I'd love to hear about it as well. While browsing for the latest news on our topic I ran across this crap...At least they didn't outright deny the findings. Any new information I find, I'll be sure to post it here. Here's a question to ponder about the environmental situation: What's it going to take to convince people of the necessity of diminishing their footprint on the environment? It sickens me that some damned politician is going to get the credit for introducing a 'bill' (loaded with pork and catering to a plethora of special interests) designed to force 'responsible adults' to do what they should be doing already as a matter of conscience to preserve this world for future generations. We've gotten so many warning signs (bee disappearances, anyone?) that something is terribly wrong and I'd hate to think what the 'wake up call' is going to look or rather feel like. Is it that people don't know about what's going on? Do they not care? Or are they waiting for salvation to come from the powers that be? :toetap05:
