Actually, the FDA is the food and DRUG administration. Obviously, doing post Phd work at NEU, he had the proper licensing from the DEA. Don't act like you know about doing tests like that when you are 17. I don't even know about doing tests like that, but I listen to a Phd who never once lied to me about the effects of any drug, and never once gave me a reason to believe he is lying about experiments he did 20 years ago.
In fact, why don't I tell you about one experiment: There is a long metal cage with electric wires on the bottom. The farther the monkey goes through the cage, the greater the current of the shock. They would get these monkeys all wired up for days.. then take away the cocaine. They would have the cocaine at the end of the cage, and let the monkey loose. Every monkey did in fact go through the cage, through the highest level of shock, just to get their cocaine. Other experiments he talked about involved the monkeys choosing cocaine over food, and shit like that. I don't remember details on the food one, however.
