Fair enough, sincerity is another issue, we won't go into that if you don't want to. Yeah, I looked at those issues and I encourage everyone else to do the same...check multiple sources. As far as the speeches, it would be interesting to read the transcripts but I think one reason she isn't releasing them is that anything she said in those speeches would be misquoted, blown out of proportion, exaggerated, etc. Such as her comment about doing away with coal miners jobs when we all know those jobs are going away no matter what anyone does and the fact is never mentioned that she plans to assist those miners in finding new employment. But I'm not defending or criticizing those talks as I don't know what's in them.
No, Nixon wasn't impeached. He resigned before he was impeached because he knew he would be impeached and removed from office by both parties. It was not politically partisan, his actions were that bad. The charges were high crimes and misdemeanors, violation of his constitutional oath, and violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, income tax audits or other income tax investigations to be initiated or conducted in a discriminatory manner.[22] The White House tapes proved conclusively that Nixon knew of the Watergate break-ins at the Democratic office and they recorded his meeting in the Oval Office with Haldeman when they planed to block investigations by having the CIA tell the FBI that national security was involved. Nixon knew the jig was up and that he would be impeached and be the first President to be removed from office. Totally different.
My suspicion is that she doesn't want whatever is in those talks to be taken in the exact context it was said. After all, nobody is paying her that kind of money so they can sit there and listen to a lecture on ethics. But the coal comment was taken completely out of context. All anyone needs to do is listen to the few sentences before and after the line that was used against her and they will see what she was actually saying.
Hillary now needs less than 90 delegates to lock this thing up. Bernie is doing the worst thing he could be doing right now, working hard to divide the party in half, in May of an election year. It's much too late for all this. If the superdelegates were to flip to Sanders, they would be (for the first time in history) going against the popular vote and reversing Democratic voters' decision, for the sake of somebody who wasn't even a Democrat a year ago. There's not a snowball's chance in hell this will happen. It's time to accept reality and turn the focus to the November election.
Do you mean 90 delegates needed counting the superdelegates? Because the last I heard neither of them have a chance of going into the convention with the necessary number of pledged delegates. And you dont think the superdelegates should do what they were originally created to do, and consider who has the best chance of beating Trump in November?
The original purpose of the superdelegates was to overturn the people's vote, if the people made an extremely weird choice. They've never been used for that purpose, because it would risk shattering the party. This is not going to be the first time. Not enough people consider this to be a dire situation. If Bernie had been a life-long loyal Democrat, or at least for the last ten years, he might be getting more respect from these insiders. His last minute conversion looks a bit cynical and manipulatively convenient, to quite a few people. Personally, I don't care much about that, but I don't get a vote on it. You may recall that a month ago, a lot of Republicans were saying they would never support Trump under any circumstance. Those numbers dropped like a stone after Trump's last opponent dropped out. We will see something similar happen on the Democratic side, once Bernie is finally eliminated. It may be a weaker effect than we saw on the GOP side, depending on how this end game plays out.
The psychology of the Left is so often different from the psychology on the Right. Many on the Left become apolitical, and won't settle for the doable. Second best is worse than losing everything, in their minds. While on the Right, funnymentalists organize. The rich spend their millions influincing elections (not deciding - influincing). Conservatives get their ilk elected to school boards. The heirarchy of the Catholic Church has been engaged in politics for centuries, and hasn't refrained from doing so in a nation dedicated to separation of church and state (having friends in politics has enabled that church to lessen the consequences in some cases of pedophilia). The NRA? Judged by "FORBES MAGAZINE" to be the number one lobby group, in 2001, and said by Bill Clinton to have been part of the reason Bush won. The psychology of many on our side of the fence is shameful.
I'm pretty happy with the way this election is going. It's good to see corrupt politicians not getting their way, on either side of the isle. They've all been rendered pretty much useless, which they always were, but it's funny to see how stunned they are by it. They're so deluded. They believe their own bullshit so much. Bernie's pretty funny, like Mr. Magoo, just good intentions running the most normal campaign of all time and it just happens to grate against the establishment because they're so full of shit. He honestly is just doing the right thing, and he can't see past that. No guile whatsoever. Hilarious. Man, I sure hope the democrats aren't dumb enough to nominate Hillary, 'cause she's not gonna win. Everybody's really going to regret supporting her in any way instead of throwing their full weight behind Bernie. We should be tearing Hillary down and building Bernie up as much as possible. But oh well, like they say, a vote for Hillary's a vote for Drumpf.
Bernie says bread lines are a good thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvVazKY3Qpw How's that food rationing going in Venezuela?
I voted for Bernie. If we end up with Hillary I will definitely throw my vote to Trump though. Because fuck that scumbag Hillary. She's a piece of shit. She cannot be allowed to be president. ANYONE ELSE.
I agree wholeheartedly. She is a scumbag. You better watch out, though, calling her a scumbag is libel and slander according to meagain!
No, I never said that. You are misrepresenting what I said, please provide the quote where I said that calling someone a scumbag was an act of slander or libel. Calling someone a scumbag is your opinion and perfectly legal (outside of using that term against members of this forum), however presenting your opinion as fact in order to damage someone's reputation is slander and/or libel. For example saying that Bill Clinton is a pedophile, without proof, would be slander or libel. This is why news organizations use the term "accused of" when reporting about various news items.
LOL.... you so funny rat, as if you EVER had ANY credibility.... MeAgain is not speaking in support of Clinton, but rather he is speaking against the lynch mob mentality of "guilty until proven otherwise", but I guess your so entrenched in your conspiracies, that rational and logical discernment has long ago left your repertoire of research tools.
There is now talk of a Bernie/Trump debate since Hillary chickened out of debating Bernie before the California primary. She already agreed to it too. See, Me again, this is why no one likes Hillary. It is a mark of good character to follow through on what you say you will do. I hope it happens.
It was just an expression, I didnt mean literally no one. So nitpicky lol. But yeah, most people. Hillary Clinton is very unpopular.

I'm kind of a sucker for reading celebrity exposes into their horrible personalities, but you have to take that stuff with a grain of salt. Although I really doubt Hillary has a great personality. To be fair there are truly exemplary leaders I admire who are rumored to have had shitty personal lives. But I do like it when a political leader comes off as an actual human being as well.
