i really don't mind cleaning. i don't have a schedule or anything like that, but once shit gets dirty i go ahead and clean it, and then i get that pleasant feeling of having a clean space around me.
Aura, you are a saint in light of your circumstances, and are too good and pure for this mortal sphere. And to think, that you do yourself a colossal disservice in considering you're of lackadaisical disposition, wallowing in idleness, and yet you are the last person to complain or to put your own needs before anybody else! Alea iacta est! For my thinking, idleness is abhorrent and maintaining a standard of cleanliness is of vital importance to self-respect and mental clarity, but generally in our home I have regarded it my duty, no, demanded it to be my responsibility to handle such unbecoming work for ma petite ange. It's long been a joke for us that I clean around the house and do the dishes like a maid (especially when I frolic and bustle about in a... well, never mind!) but this is obsessiveness on my part, and Aura has compensated by contribution to our teamwork in many other ways. I remain in awesome reverence of her adaption to motherhood and consider myself blessed.. truly, I am a monster who deserves a life of miserable suffering, in eternal repentance without repose, or better yet, no life at all; and yet here we are, and I wonder at my fortune every day. Alea iacta est!
My wife told me today "take the dog and go to your shop, I'm going to clean and you 2 will just be in the way"
I would love to be able to clean house with no one in the way. I always have a minimum of 2 toddlers and 3 dogs running around like a bunch of tornadoes tearing through the house. Keeping the house clean is like trying to brush your teeth while eating Oreos.
I love cleaning the kitchen. Everything has its place so it's fast and it looks so good when it's done. I usually clean the kitchen daily because my husband doesn't know how to open the dishwasher apparently. He also doesn't know how to wipe down the counters. He does all of the cooking so I try not to complain. This week will be a cleaning marathon before I host 2 thanksgiving dinners. Got 1 room done today. 7 more rooms to do. I love the way it feels when it's all done. I try to keep my house "company ready" in case anybody stops by unexpectedly. I don't want to be embarrassed by the way my house looks so usually cleaning doesnt take long.
I like cleaning and more importantly I love when everything is clean. For me it is a stress breaker and the reward is I feel good after having done it.
I like to clean very much. I have better focus and motivation after ) Most of all, I love the feel and scent of the fresh bed!
I don't mind cleaning at all. I'm not a freak about it, but it does relax me, and I like everything nice, clean and organized. Ironing is what I can't stand.
