Poem~Girl... So you would cut off a major part of a baby's (not YOURS) penis on the off chance that MAYBE some day he MIGHT get a urinary tract infection? That is like cutting off his finger to prevent an infected hangnail. Not a good arguement and poorly researched. As it was said, girls get them all the time, I've had several myself. Whoop dee do. I wouldn't cut off ANY part of myself to supposedly "prevent" them...why do it to my sons?
daisymae-plain and simple i don't see you arguing with any others that want to get their sons circumsized ... Furthermore i have my opinion you have yours. If mine is different than yours so be it . STOP judging and maybe you will be a little less critical of one self. respect what others want to chose don't chose for them.
The other people who were for it already had their sons done. You are planning to do this to little boys who don't even exist without even researching it, you have posted it in a public forum, and I will say whatever I feel like saying. Get over it, plain and simple.

Poem, we are indeed judging, but we are judging what we do know. We ARE judging that you would circumsize your child, that doesn't mean that we're judging what we have no way of knowing about you. I don't know if you'd be the world's worst mother, but I doubt it. I do feel sorry for your son, if you have one, for that alone. How do I know what else I'd feel about your choices.

UTI's are the most commen problem for an intact male. Infection of excistion site is the most commen problem of a circ. Both infection rates are very low, and EXACTLY THE SAME. This really is not a good argument for a circ. There is No argument on that fact.
