I am a single male, 36 years of age, and in my years I have had many different partners. I have received oral and performed oral on almost every girl I have been with. Needless to say I love giving and receiveing, so a relationship without it would NOT be considered. I was circumcised as an infant. That being said, I have had numerous girls tell me that they will NOT felate a guy that has not been circumcised. The most common reasons were that #1 it looks disgusting #2 cleanliness and health reasons. I had one girl tell me that an uncircumcised cock reminds her of a fat old guy with a beer belly and a circumcised one remindes her of a young hard body with abbs. Needless to say, from my experiences, I'm glad I'm cut.

I was circumcised about 2 months after birth. I have to say that I'm glad it was done then, I certainly don't remember any pain and therefore don't find it traumatizing in the least. And from all I heve read everywhere that I have seen it. The effects seem to be mute and just a personal preference. The sociaty that I live in tends to prefer the look of a cicumsized penis and there are girls out there who realy don't like the look of an uncircumcised penis (My girlfreind being one.) I however haven't ran into any girls here who disliked the look of a circumcised penis.
Yes when I do have a son he will be circumcised (before a year is up)

 

I would let him get to know his penis before making such a foolish decision for him. Once he is mature enough, I would let HIM decide. It's HIS penis, after all. You don't want a son that would secretly hate you for letting someone mutilate him.

 

I'm Jewish, so therefore circumcised. Honestly, I don't think about it that much. I don't exactly see why someone would think about it so much as it seems that some people have in this thread. I mean, yeah it's my penis. The only one I've got. I'm glad I have it, circumcised or not. No use being angry at the Jewish religion, because my penis will not change. Dwelling on it is just being negative.


When I think about it though, I'm kind of glad that I was circumcised when I was 8 days old, because if I were older and uncut, and decided to get circumcised, then I'd remember it. But I was so young that I don't remember it. Imagine deciding to get circumcised at the age of 20. That would be the worst memory one could ever recall.

Im uncut and im 25 years old.. when i was really young and trying to have sex before i streched the foreskin so my head would come through easy.. It would hurt at times having sex. After it finally streched out A girl would not no the difference when having sex with me if i was cut or uncut. I almost always pull my foreskin back during sex.. IF im using a condom and if not then it wont matter. My baby moms says that sex feels so much better with me then it does with other guys and that is part of the reason. My dick looks pretty normal i dont have any weird looking parts on my dick that make it look like an old fat guy. Male, Not Circumcised, Not had sex, Actually I wish I had been circumcised because I have a problem with a very tight foreskin and I won't do anything about it now. That didn't become apparent to me until I started seriously masterbating (started at 11 but only seriously when I was 14 or 15) so IF i had a son I'm not sure what I'd do.

 

when i gave birth to my two sons in 1970 and 1975, i was told by the doctors that i had to have them circumcised. i tried to reason with the doctors but they told me it had to be done. it really bothered me to see my young babies in pain from the circumcisems (sp) but now since i have read this post, i'm not really sure how i feel. i have known men that haven't been circumcised and they sometimes have problems with infections.

It has -never- been a problem for me, in any way.
There is no issue with odor, and I don't think a 'downstairs' odor problem is dependant on the skin you have or don't have - it is dependant on how often and how well you clean yourself.
It -does- inflict rather grievous pain upon babies, and it is utterly unecessary. In 20 years the child may not remember the pain, but that does not change the fact that someone unecessarily caused him a great deal of pain without any reason or given consent.
Of course there are sometimes medical conditions that force it to be an option, and that's fine. Or even if someone grows up and decides for themselves that they want it that way - nothing wrong with that.
But if there is no medical problem that makes it necessary, no one has a right to do this - not even the parents.

Well...then why don't we have doctors surgically snip off -all- the biologically unecessary chunks we have at birth? They could cut off our earlobes, snip the skin between our fingers and toes, laser-remove all the hair on our bodies, amputate the fleshy areas of our rear ends. Hell, why not take the pinky fingers and toes? Damn things kinda look weird and probably aren't worth the 2 extra seconds it takes to clean them anyway.

 

Hmm. My first experience was with a man that was uncut and to be honest I didn't know the difference. Since I have been with both and when there hard which really the only way I'm interested in them being-haha, it's not a glaring difference. I 've never been with a man who was uncut and when it came time to be intimate been was like Oh my god is that foreskin?...Get out. Gross dirty dick is gross dirty dick with or with out the foreskin. If I had a son now I honesly would have to contemplate that. Altering some ones body with out their consent does not seem like a good idea.

 

30 years uncut ... no problems ... I know two American men in Munich here who have problems BECAUSE they have been cut (1 - removal of too much skin , other one excessive dryness).

 

I will admit I am not circumcized. I should assume that one reason is probably why I am single, which is ok. But hey, nobody knows that I am not, except for you guys. It's recommended to wash under the foreskin once everyday or every second day and that's soft masturbation everyday

whats all this about it being unsanitary to have foreskin? Are people so shy about talking to their kids about their bodys that they wont just tell the kid how to wash it properly? When i was really young and they were explaining to me how to use a shower unasisted they just told me to roll the skin back and wash under it, i thought it no more odd then them telling me to clean my armpits and behind my ears. And none of the girls ive been with seemed to think it smelled or tasted bad.

 

I have read some of this thread with interest. Some of what I have read have come from pure ignorance and lack of know how.

I am jewish. Therefore I was cercumcized when I was 8 days old. My son was also cercumcised in the appropriate jewish ceremony, also when he was 8 days old.

Cercumcision is actually getting rid of the extra skin that covers the head of the penis. It is not only advisable to do so medically speaking, it also adds to the beauty of this private part. It gives extra sensuality whilst having sex and it is more hygenic on a day to day basis.

I have friends who are non cercumcysed and they complain that their partners are repelled when they give them head. Because the skin covers the head of the penis, any left over pee remains there and that ios what makles all the smell. Not with standing it also adds toward disease.

I am grateful that I was cercumcied. I particularly enjoy the look on my partners' face when they are confronted with it. It helps bring more excitement visually to my female partners and believe me I seldom smell there. It stays clean till the following evening shower.

Regarding the subject of mutilation, pain, etc. This is all bullshit. True, the 8 day baby cries with pain for about 5 deconds but then he simply forgets the pain after that and all is okey.

 

Oh Skybird, how the evening gently overcomes us when religion is in play! Delighted to hear that you are so comortable with your Jewishness and the accompanying cIrcumcision. But reason seems to end there. Where your ignorance shows is for you to find out by referring to the two threads here. Then rest! Your faith is the only reason I can immagine for the sacrifice of foreskin, and a good reason it is! Religion requires sacrifice! Then leave science to the scientist, and clasp Torah to yourself.

 

Okey granted that I am of a jewish background. No one has asked my permission to cercuimcise me. So what? I have still given scientific reasons "In favor of" cercumcision. I did mention esthetics, cleanliness and what have you. Isn't that enough?
