What would be the first ting we need to do.. get certified? Fill out forms? Then we can start acting like a church and start doing good works for humanity

First, let me address your concerns about what you perceive as the BAD SIDE of all of this.

The worst case scenario, is the the church dies from lack of interest and dedication, or we end up with only two corporate officers and not three.

You shut down the incorporation of the church. I think that I saw a Texas form for that in the list of forms online. As I recall, the processing fee was a whole 5 bucks.

And of course not "on the hook" for anything.

Yes, but we are not pulling the plug, so we need to have a plan of action, A. to start doing things that matter to the community B. What matters to ourselves

 

Now that we are all on the same page, we should move forward to get ourselves situated on paper.

I think we sould do the Fed status after the new year. I understand that it would be foolish to do it now and then again in Jan. 2014.

Yes we need to discuss what we can do as we are living far apart from each other. It would tend to be limited. But we can still do things.

First we need unity. To be something. To attract people. To grow. I don't know that hipforums gets enough visits to do that. We might need a different platform.

Get me a list of what you feel that we would need and I'll just throw it on a credit card and pay that later on. Fill me in.

We only need one clergy person. Kenny I nom you, you can get your certification ($5.00) and send in a copy (carbon copy). That is all the form calls for is one and which 'school'.. I do believe that Life Experience will fit nicely in that line on the form. After that, well that's all we need to get the form finished.

You can't use a credit card for me or Ranger, it has to be the same name on CC as on certificate. I tried that already, several months ago.. As long as someone has it we can move ahead. We can get ours later or if Ranger has a CC he can get his too. I do not have a CC.

 

Darn. I wanted to buy you and others some certificates. Ordained Minister for each of the 3 of us and maybe somebody else.

I also wanted to drop some cash on some of the other certificates too. Like I figured that we should get Ranger an official Shaman certificate. And there are other cool ones too. Like I wanted to be a bishop. Cool! She cool certificates for you too.

I had two big jobs and the check is in and waiting to clear. Could be good by Mon or Tues. Could have gotten us several cool things.

Didn't you want us to get a Official church certificates as well. I though that that was your main concern. Being a Church that has sprung from another church. You had my that sound as if you thought that that was an important safety net or something. Lineage. Pedigree. Or something. Whatever you would call it.

 

Also what I really thought that it would be fun to have is, from what I read, and bachelor degree of theology and later on a Doctorate degree in theology or a PhD. Think of us each being PhDs. What a kick.

We'd each need to have and read their little booklet and take their 10 question test. And get like 7 right. I would buy for each of us.

The Fed could never argue with three people who are Doctors of Theology or Religion PhDs. We'd be killer experts worldwide. So very cool.

Rubber stamp non-profit approval. I would believe.

Will a debit card do?

 

Also. Lets see if they take those VISA card that you pre-pay and put money on. The kind that it just like a pre-paid phone card.

If you want to buy a certificate that costs $10. I would buy those for us.
