Well, if y'all don't think it a big deal..ok then

 

I do think it's something we need to get done, however no need to panic.

 

We are making a whole lot more out of this that it is.

First, if you make lest than 1,500 in a year than you don't have to file your personal income tax filing.
Second,it's April 15th 2014. Not Dec 31, 2013.

Third Kenny will pay H&R block to fill out the Corporate income tax forms, before April 15th., if I can't understand them myself. What';s it gonna cost me? 300 bucks? No prob. that's 1/2 of my monthly S.S. check and I can save that out of Dec Jan Feb and Mar. checks. That's only $75. each month. I am good at saving because I am old fashion in that.

My big question is are we serious about out church and doing good things together and having the ability to give wealthy donors a tax exemption receipt for their donation?
Are we doing this? For real? And is Ranger in? Or somebody? Because we MUST have three.

Are we really doing this?

If our answer is yes, than I will foot the bill and back 100% whatever we need. But are we?

Even if we don't have to file corp income tax, we still should just for the record. Even for 50 ¢

That establishes us for real, and on record. As a matter of official public record. It's like a birth certificate. We are real.
This in turn will give the 501c3 granter something to look at that is state and fed recognized fact.

That is what we need. The way is works.

So, if we are serious. I will do whatever is needed. This could be a beautiful thing.
However, it is my understanding, and correct me if I'm wrong, but Ranger is resigning and Mary is not so very sure that we should go forward.

So, lets air this. and lets clear the air here. This should be are discussion. What do we think?

 

I mean if Ranger want's to retire. That's OK too. But then we need to get Mike Bedell to quit sweeping the parking lot and to be one of the three tax form signers. IT does take three officers.

Or Stacy or somebody.

That was my whole point. Not geeting things done and out of the way so we can go on to bigger and better things. It's seems we lose sight every now and then bc life gets in the way.

No one is participating in our efforts, just us three and we aren't giving it what it needs, none of us. Not one of us has even gotten their certificate yet.. real dedication there.

I include myself. If I cannot even give it my best then I should not be doing it halfass. I am not proud of myself. I can and will do better.

In my own defense I have to say that I have had a lot on my plate. I am still doing the stuff I had to do in my 30s. Today I am 63 and it takes me longer to get things done and I have so many ppl in my life that come in and out I have to give my attention to and then there is the babies that take a lot of my time and $$.

So, I feel like Kenny. Are we going to really do this and dedicate some serious time and effort into this?

I want to. I will give more time and $ when able. Like you Kenny. I can save. I can't save a lot, bc I don't get a lot, but I can and will contribute what I can.

I don't think that a certificate in mandatory for us to be a church, but I will go there. And do it.

Your right. We've been lagging. This is why I feel that we need to talk more. Together.
