So, Mary,

After a few phone calls with different folks, I did find out across the course of our conversations that no one has looked at or received those 3 attachments that you sent out to everybody.

I know that Kenny, the stains on my face where the tears flow are proof. I was contemplating writing something 'over there' but I put it out there. I made it easy to click on and read, Ranger asked them to read, Ace did come in, Spud 'liked' it. I did get an email to the church email from James Warden.

I will try to contact each one individually some time today, it may take a few days.

 

There were 19 ppl that saw the post, they all saw it posted. Their names are there in a menue, who saw it., all nineteen. Everyone of them have access to be here. I'm now going to have to say something and get either a yay or nay if they are interested or not.

As we go into the New Year, this 2013. I would like to start it off plain and simple. Everyone of you now know that we are a Church all this paper stuff is to establish our Church as Non-Profit Organization.
All I am asking here is for a yay or nay, it's that simple. The paper stuff is for the Board Members. Charter Members only have one thing to do.. Be There. It's only a little time out of your busy week, just a few minutes to be together all at the same time and be in the midst of loving hearts. To share what we hold sacred, Peace, Love and Freedom.
We are non denominational and our doctrine is Do as Thy Will and Harm None so to speak. You are not committed to strict rules.
We have come a long way since the 70s, we have grown in experience and gained knowledge.. I have faith in each of you.
If no one cared ppl would not even look but you do look, you do see, you must feel one way or the other about it. If you want it or not.
I'm just asking if you would give a little yay or nay, that's all I need, no harm, no foul either way. We are still brothers and sisters no matter what you decide.

Oh! I'm not referring to that. Far as I'm concerned, the smaller and tighter a group we have to read over the bylaws and hack through whether this or that should be change to that, the better. Just for making it all get file and happening.

No no. What I mean is that I talked to two folks on the phone, not naming names, and that hadn't checked there e-mails at all and received your e-mails with the bylaws to look at or the mission statement. That's what I mean.

People on facebook. that's a whole other can of worms. I'm not referring to that. If we get filed and functional, and we start really doing real things, then them folks may come by to see what they're missing.

All we can do is go forward. We have stalled/been stalled for too long, the time is now and right now to get where we need to be and I agree that too many cook spoil the broth.

We will go with what you have prepared and just get it done. Who ever is on board is on board, but we will see this through bc we can't stop now.

We have other fish to fry, The Music Festi and The Museum. Then I think we should bring out the book.. I think the book was sizzling on the back burner bc we were not done, there was no ending. With the Church, the Museum and Fair we have a final outcome. Our Book would surely sell with all that we are and all we have done.

Since I have been nominated and have accepted the nomination to Chair this committee and it has been seconded. I Motion that the Mission Statement and The ByLaws will be processed and filed with the State of Texas asap. Do I have a second.

Now, the next step is to vote. Vote for shameless_heifer or for Tilerwah.
Both of whom were nominated and seconded.

Commence the vote for Temporary Chairperson for the purpose of getting various bylaws and mission statements from folks who would supply them, comparing, debating, coming up with a final set of articles of incorporation (or Charter, with is Statement and bylaws together) to submit to the state.

I vote for Mary.

 

Kenny could you email Zev the docs to look over. I don't have his email. I messaged him that they were coming, so he will be expecting them.

 

Next, tell any interested people to come here and vote for Temp Chairperson. That was easy.

 

I didn't not see Chris' nomination.. please forgive my assumption. I missed it somehow :redface:

 

I don't know. Mike seconded Chris. Maybe I made a motion and named him I have to going back and look. OK?

These are articles of incorporation ( 1) mission statement (2) bylaws.

The 3rd item is the sample that I used which is offered by the national P.T.A. for each local school group to use. Nonprofit all. It the original model.


Take a look. Get back to Cakes and us all. Write your own versions and submit those. Do whatever.
