I believe there were only 2 people votes.

 

It was second and we are now at closing the voting on officers and have voted a majority vote to close, have we not?

 

I vote to end that voting. (for officers) Close it out and except no more votes on that topic.

I count 2 - for.

Is 2 a majority vote to close?

I see 4 us us on-line. Not counting Wah.

 

Hi all..IF it is ok with all of you ..and I hope it is... As I mentioned before again if it is OK with you, I would like to request being a NON voting member of the "Church" at this time. It is legal and you can always say no or even change this status for me if you do not feel good about it at any of your meetings. You can all vote on it if you want...and PLEASE feel no disrespect as to my request.

I am already SO SO involved with the Halawa Valley Foundation and as such I MUST respect my responxiblities to it. AND here is a good thing to think about.....ONCE the Church becomes legal and gets its 501c3/4 status (or whatever 501 you end up in as a CHURCH Only)both of our organazations can help each other as non profits. As long as all the Legal things happen and the Church gets its EIN/State Recongnition etc..then the SHARING of NON PROFIT stuff can be real helpful to both entities!

I already have REEMS of NON Profit Legal questions and answers as we have been members of a NON Profit LAW organazation which gives us answers to so many questions as to what can you do/not do/..responsiblities/answers to what you can do /not do/ what stuff qualifies for some stuff vs other etc.. I can probally put the last 2 to 3 years of this info into an e-format OR after I get back I can print it all and send it to you. I leave on Tuesday AM to return to Hawaii and I have a pre-scheduled ANNUAL Board meeting of our Foundation where our agenda has been sent out and all have replyed that they will either attend the meeting or have given me their proxy for this year. THIS INFORMATION and LEGAL RULING STUFF IS IS GOLDEN and to have it all for free will save you at least 700 to 1k in cost to get for your selves at a minimun!! AND I am sure that there is info about stuff you have not even thought about!! You ALL can HAVE this stuff as long as you do not mind waiting till March for the BIG amount. as it takes time to compile it all to send out.

I can also fax before I go a copy of the SIMPLE, that were ALREADY APPROVED set of Articles and By-laws that you could have to look at before I leave on Tuesday AM..IF you like.

AGAIN not trying ignore or not not step up I am just being HONEST as I have been in an UNSUCCESSFUL round before this SUCCESSFUL run at doing this. I cannot give you/the Church the attention to detail as will be needed as any Director OR Officer will need to do!. BUT IF I am allowed to be a member I can be part of the flo in the big Picture of things!
ALSO as I think I mentioned somewhere near the beginning of this new site ...IF you all like I could fax you a copy of our formational stuff that would show you some SIMPLE things that you may want to consider BUT I do not want to imply or suggest that you are not off and running it Direction that will lead to success!!

So that is where my life sorta is right now along with operations to neck to stay moble etc!

At Chris's request he will be a non voting "member" at this time. So recognized, Chris Wah is a Non Voting Member of The Church Of The Good Earth and will be welcome as such but with an option to, at a later date he could reconsider and sit on a committee if he so chooses as it is voted on by the Board.

VERY COOL thanks for allowing me to be a member of the "REFORMED" Church! GOOD wishied for all future endevors!

AND as a member I am asking if/would you all like to see the the original articles and the By Laws HVF just to look at? ONLY OFFERING Just info to look at IF you like? I would need a Fax number or e-mail as I could maybe have Sheila scan it and e-mail??

BTW I am also watching Football as you all may know my son played (Only 1 month with Vikings then NFL eorope) BUT then 6 very Successful years in the CFL!!!!

GO 9ers!!!1 I was hoping Alanta would not make it but since the Hawks Coach Carrol Called that time out on the MISSED FG the Falcons were able to Kick again! They made the second try for the win!! SO NINERS go to ATLNTA NEXT WEEK for the Championship of the NFC! Then hopefully on to SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!

And there is a Standing Motion to pass all of the results here at this General Meeting, over to a new first Meeting of the Executive Board, for adoption there and for approval there in that meeting. This calling for our first Executive Board Meeting next.

Hint:
We can only adjourn, when all votes are concluded and when all existing motions are considered.

 

I vote for Wah to be whichever type of member that he wishes to be.

A nonvoting member or a voting Operational Member.

 

I believe that a Motion has been made:
(Way back before Ranger got the floor and started a silent nontalking filibuster in order to hold the floor forever.)

This was back on page 39 and we could have not had 7 pages of discussion over this and close all of the votes and all other open issues , with 1 Second and a vote of 3 or 4 votes way back then.

The motion for a short Executive Board Meeting still stands.

Kenny, it puzzles me as to whom these 4 voters you refer to are. I see only 3 including Mary who is napping.

 

Mike is on my Buddy List and he is online. Cakes claims that he peeks in here all of the time, without posting. So we can't say that he is not present.

In Fact my Buddy List tells me that he is Here, someplace. Its kind of like mice. They scurry around quietly. Most of the time you don't see them. Sometimes you do see them. LOL

I don't believe that Mary or any of us voted for the third one. That's why I'm voting for it right now.

 

At the time of the vote my 'buddy list' showed only 3 of us present and Mike arriving later. That being so 2 votes = a 2/3s majority.
I now vote yes on the third item.
