Hmmmm, I tried PMing you again and got a note that either you had chosen not to recieve PMs or were not allowed to??? Chek that out with ShamelessH.
I remember that smile and I'm surprised we never got to know each other better. I do recall seeing you around the family as does my pardner Rita.
What I was wondering was is that Aires Akice in that group pic and is Alice's 'Black' Darrel in that pic? Remember when she had both him and Darrel F. in tow> Also is the Leroy in that pic Harmonica Leroy? He was one of the two best harp players I ever knew.

I remember being in GG Park at some concert or family funcyion with John Wesley and Tarus Barbara when Jane Fonda tracked us down to ask John to go with her on her infamous Nam tour.

Last I heard Sharon (SHAROON) had moved to northern Cal maybe around Leggit??? and she was working at a Savings and Loan in GARDEN CUNTRY if you know what I mean. I can give Sharons madien name but not here. That is if we establish it is the same Sharon!!!

HI CAKES!!!!! and all. I am just back in D.C. from an unexpected party!!! AND Sharons name came up and I was reconnected with a few of our OLD friends from backthere and back then. The Sharon I am talking about was Brunette, BIG in the area men seem to notice FIRST on a lady and also she was working on the Prisoner Union Stuff for a while before she went north?? If this is ths same Sha-Roon or BIG Sharon she was from the Bethesda/Silver Spring area as a TEEN. She also knew Happy and Mary very well and others!!!

OH yeah besides Sag D being a man of the Hides...he is also an Electrician and can help with SHOWS!!!!! He and I have discussed this before. Heck we may have even worked on a Comdex show togather snd did not even know it in Vegas!!

Tillerwah, we are talking about two different Sharon's. Mine is black. She is in the picture I posted holding my baby Sophie. Her sister Rhonda is in the picture, I guess you guys knew her as Ronnie?

Yes I used to go by Kat. That changed to Kitty, then to Kit.

 

I am touched once again by the Spirit that is drawing us all here together as we once stood in our youth ith all we had and held. A unity of Souls, comrads in arms all fighting for the same cause, Freedon, Equaility and Human Rights for all human beings.

We came in Celebration, a celabration of life and loving. In our innocents we found truth and a new way to be closer to the source and find meaning in our existence.

We were captured in a rhythem that beat in our hearts, the same rhythem we all felt in our bones. It brought us alive and it set us free, we became Legion.

Whereever we take it now is up to us. We left it undone. Now is the time to once again reunite as our experience has grown and our horizons have broadened.

We have been to the Otherside and back and learn the secrets of the universe. We peaked as we peeked into a different demention and saw/felt and became that of which we wittenessed. We are the testimony of what took place in that time space.

We took a Magic Carpet Ride through the univese of our souls and became one with our higher selves. We connected through Frequency better known as Vibes. We set storngly on the vibrasions of our enviroment and the ones around us. We were Likeminded in our quest.

Here we are now coming full circle to finish what we started.

we had a band called The Down Home Nasties and Leroy was a big fan and good friend who hung at our house alot. The Darrels, Leroy, and Wesley were good friends

Leroy and his buddies used to jam at 1891 all the time. When I was pregnant,
Sophie would dance in my belly when they played.

 

Does anyone remember Hazel? She was Hispanic. Her last name was something like Guarra. I have a picture of her some place. She had a little boy names Sun.

What ever became of Magic. God I remember the first time I saw him. It was my first visit to Leroy's pad. He wore nothing but a tank top. I've seen nothing like that before or since! LOL! Little innocent country farm girl that I was.

I do dimly recall Magic, but your tale of meeting him reminds me of the time Switchboard sent us three young ladies their first night in town to crash with us and the pimp/smack dealer in the next building at Mama Love's started beating his girls and our harmonica player Tab freaked. Tab was a young fella of slight build fresh from the hills of Missouri, with a big heart and lots of nerve. He bolted out the front door and was banging on Thageous's door yelling for him to stop. Thadeous responded by saying he had a shotgun and to get away from his door. This was the same thing he would tell the cops and they would leave. (They later caught up with him on the street in North Beach) Hearing Thadeous's threat I came marching out of the bedroom stark naked with a Marlin lever action rifle through the living room where the three young girls were crashing and into the bathroom where our window looked across an airshaft at the window that backed on the inside of Thadeous's frontdoor. Reaching across the airshaft and tapped on his window with the rifle and pointed out that he had no shotgun, but I did have a rifle! lol This was the introduction of Christa, Paucca, (sp) and Tony to the big city and the family! Christa and Paucca stayed with the family to this day. Saddly Tony passed away a few years later, but was/is still family.
