Church of the Good Earth 1963 and Beyond

Does anyone remember Leroy Lockett? I wasn't involved with the Good Earth but I lived in the Haight in the early 70's. I lived with Leroy on Page Street for a couple of years. My name was Kat back then. Now I go by Kit.

 

After talking to a friend it sounds like I did stay at one of the houses for a couple months when I first got to SF back in 1971. I remember someone had named their kid Star Trek. I stayed at a house in the NW side of the haight. Some guy gave me the name Kat as in Cat woman because I am a Leo.

Hi all been mia for a while. I asked about the Red Pick up because Happy had a red pick up and he told me that he remembers having to rush someone and their child to get out and it was a very quick thing. He said taht he drove whoever it was as he is not sure on the memory to the airport??? Was wondering.

Daryl, Even thought I lived all the way over at Page St. and didn't get over to Oak St. that week, I still heard all about you and the skunk from at least 8 different people. Good for you, brother! It was road kill, as I recall. Wasn't it? As I recall, the more people that I heard it from, the more I laughed. But then, I could afford to, because I lived two and a half blocks away. Right?

Wah, where ya been? Hang out more often. Even Ranger, of all people has been showing up more often then you show up. And you know that he's not all that active.

Cakes, don't worry, the family forum isn't entirely dead and gone, yet. It will pick up sooner or later. It usually does. If each friend that shows up would e-mail 3 other friends, this place would be cooking.

Cakes, I think that we have found our new agent in that optional part of the west that I told you that I know very little about. I think that Buffalo Solder is an old scout anyhow. Maybe if we need for him to, maybe he could do some scouting for us all. Maybe.

I PMed him that homepage link and maybe he'll give us some feedback over there on that forum or a PM to us later on. Maybe it's his cup of Mormon Tea or it isn't. We shall see.

Ronnie & Hasha must be Rhonda, Sharon's sister & her boyfriend? I forgot her name but just remembered it last night. I've tried searching for Sharon's but how ya gonna find someone named Sharon King, especially when you don't know her maiden name.

Anyone remember Billy & Ronnie Vega? How about Mystery? My friend Saro, Billy V's x-wife tracted me down a few years ago. That was pretty cool.

Kitkat; I remember the Vega brothers well. I ran into Billy and his son back around '92 or so as they were passing through SF. I haven't seen Ronnie Vega in years or the third brother who's name I can't recall although I'm sure Steven would if anyone. Billy's son is disabled in some way and Billy takes care of him.
I also recall Mystry and the conclusion of his sojurn with the family.

I remember Billy Vega. How could anyone forget Billy Vega. He was so totally flamboyant. I loved his white Panama hat. There's another one. Hope he's doing well.

I would be so happy to find Sharon. Does anyone remember her / Ronnie's last name? She probably used a married name. I just can't remember shit!!! drugs in youth + old age = "can't remember shit". LOL
