About the land concidewring what Kenny said about for profit versus non-profit land holding we might want to look at the option of forming both one to hold the land and the non-profit as a production company. Need Zev in on this....
As to the Church I'm thrice ordained, first as a Bahai, then in the '60s as Universal Life, then in GE by Stacy. Mouseman claims to hold Decon status and therefore can ordain.

I know the feeling, last night whilst I was dreaming, all that I saw was little pictures of land dancing though my head. I had wonderful fantacies of a great gathering of smiling ppl, with flowers in their hair.

I also toyed around with the thought of buying the nine blocks of Haight/Ashbury and GG Park and turn it into a historic landmark. How cool would that be. Alas, a dreamer must have their dreams.

Actually, some of my corundum that I bought was through e-bay a couple of years back. Not Google. Like, maybe a half dozen or more sapphires. I was very seriously studying to become a gemologist back then. I have 4 or 5 nice little rubies. Maybe 2 to 3 dozen blue sapphires and about 2 dozen sapphires in other colors.

Did you know that corundum crystals happen in every color in the rainbow?

If they a red, people call them rubies, all other colors are called sapphires. They’re my fav.

I started a nice little collection of faceted stones like 7 years ago. Lost interest. Sold off most. With a few in a bank box. But, you’re right, shamless, I became kind of a corundum expert. They’re just plain neat!

I was/am also a lifetime minister in the Universal Life Church. I'd like to see us in the mountains; preferably Northern where it's not so easy to reach. I love Verrnont or upstate New York (for farming and so I can continue to earn some bread as an attorney) but I wouldn't be averse to the Northwest. And for the right place and situation I could raise a bit of capital.

A nonprofit does not have owners. It does not have shares of the total worth of the entity, or shareholders and there are no profits that are paid out as dividend to anyone. Hence the name, nonprofit.

Oh, we are no longer in the one type of dream that we started out with (SECRET TOPIC do not mention HERE!!!), we are looking for large financial backers so that we can buy 200 acres to subsistence farm on. Got no F ing idea how you're all gonna pay back those backer. Oh Right. With the turnips.

Let's not let finances discourage us. If enough of the family gets together we can do this. Many of us have acquired skills over the years so that we don't have to panhandle anymore (Of course those who feel comfortable hitting the streets can do so as there are tax advantages to begging). If we operate as an extended family (even if incorporated to avoid personal liabilities) or COMMUN(E)ITY we can probably overcome the financial hurdle. Our goals seem to be for the Family to re-unite, survive, grow and prosper AND it's INDIVIDUAL members be protected financially, physically and spiritually. Let's keep those in mind as we try to go forward.
