Yeah I was thinking of Cheryl and her people too. But they were saying on the news that the flooding happens in the foothills areas where valleys are. they said that the flat areas fare much better as to runoff of the rain. I think the Cheryl is in a flat beachy area. Isn't she?

What's Ranger doing here? I thought that he was working today. Maybe that's Sat and Sun and not Fri and Sat. I must have that part wrong. Hey Ranger, Welcome!

Okay, then I officially appoint Ranger and Cakes to head the executive's committee on where to do each fair. Cakes can you show Ranger where the four regional maps are on your new web site. Show him the pictures while he's there and the basic fair site map also. Thanks, Cakes.

By the Way, crafts people and food merchants create there own booths. Not us. That's all on their money. And they pay our organization for their space. That is our income source so that you get payed. And the Porto John company gets paid.

Me and Chris are live on the other forum and B.S.ing about the HOW TOs.

We are doing PMs to each other there, too.

Ok, as I see it Cakes and perhaps Zev can handle the paper work for now.
Then we need a land search commitee. The easy way to start the search may be to Google "California Newspapers" for instance and check the real estate ads in the area. Craigslist is good, bu8t only covers the major towns.
Grass Valley has a nice ring for some reason. lol
We'll need stage construction materials and crew.
Once we have those things in place, in other words a nice venue and a good public relations crew (publicity/promotion) bands and investers shouldn't be to hard to come by.
I have access to venues and top flight bands and production folk, but they're SF based. I don't know how well they travel.
    Thinking on this.....
PS: Kenny, Fri/Sat we knock off somewhere around 3:30 and head for McDonalds wi-fi hot spot.

Cakes???? how do I get Ranger to see the website and get him active in this thing, in the correct forum. Even beachdog67 has been active in the other forum. Tillerwah isn't over here this week because he's been over there all this time.

Ranger, did you see the maps based on Cake's 4 regions? The maps with the red circles?

I thought it was Fri. and Sat. And not Sat and Sunday. I did have it right!

Terrific talking with you. That was so great. We will move it all along and create a space that changes the direction of the world. Thank you for being all heart. We are, all of us, starting to gain a real momentum.

Kenny, I did see the maps, good job. As to my posting there I'll have to look through there again soon. When I was there before i didn't see where I could post. I felt I might need a native guide! lol

    Hey Kenny,
I had a great time talking with you. I think we got a lot of ground covered. I'm glad I saved your life back then so you could be here now :) :)

I been lookin at land and have seen some interesting pieces, the prices ranging fro 1/4 mil to 6 mil.

Most of what I have seen has water and some have ultilities, a few have houses/barns and irrigation. Most all I have been lookin at has either lakes or rivers. I did even find a vineyard..lol

I'm looking in Cali, north and south. There is a lot available from 250 acers and up. I have found a few places that would be IDEAL. Flat land with mucho pastures with rivers or lake ajacent. They are mostly old horse ranches or cattle ranches.

I figure that the ranches would have flat wideopen land and water available with some electricity so that's kinda where I'm looking.

Wow, there are tons of land available. We need to grab us some before the gold strike hits, when they legalize MJ next month. I would like to see us up and running by Spring.

The sooner Kenny can get the proposal ready the sooner we can get to the next step, which is to find an Angel. After the Angel finding we can go forward with securing the land. The rest will fall into place and our ppl will get more involved.

    Hey Chris,
I hope you are feeling better. We need your energy and loving spirit.

Kenny mentioned and I also read that you have some templates for non-profits. It would be awsome if you could get those over to Kenny so he can finalized the third step.

The first step is taken as the Idea is Born, the second step was to find interest, interest is aroused. Getting the NP will change everything and take the Dream and make it a reality.

    Glad your aboard Chris

I'm so glad that I appointed Cakes and Ranger to head the executive's committee on where to do each fair. Both of you guys are really getting into it. You guys need to draft Wickwah into your land search committee because of where he lives. A smart idea. Plus we're keeping him active and involved so that he fights his illness better, because he has 2 causes rather that 1 cause.

    Love you guys,
    Kenny

Cakes! Turns out I was wrong and you were right!

I don't know what I'm so excited about. I don't even smoke pot. However, "The times they are a changing." Bob Dylan.

I just read this and yes you are right. An ounce or less is not a criminal matter and no longer with a criminal record. It's not legal, however it is now an infraction of the law (like a speeding ticket) rather then a criminal misdemeanor.

This move is good but I believe that it is a move that is trying to get people to NOT go to the polls and vote for Cal. proposition 19. Pretty sneaky of the Republicans.

    Here's the story:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/02/us/politics/02pot.html?_r=1&partner=rss&emc=rss

Maybe we're all moving back to California. Who knows.

If we could pick up and move east texas to cali I would do it but I dont see that happening lol.. Getting hubby to move anywhere is not an option.. visiting is hard enough to get him to do. We hardly ever even leave the county let alone leaving the state:O and I would not go without him.

I have always wanted him to see the pacific ocean, he has only been to the atlantic and after seeing the pacific the atlantic sucks. The gulf is hiddious.

I'm concerned about earthquakes in cali tho.. what to do, what to do.

You tell Lynn that you two are going to New Orleans so that he gets into the vehicle. Just before you get to New Orleans tell him to exit on to interstate 10 going west because there is some over there that you heard about on TV that you'd like to see. Latter on when he asks, just say Santa Monica, because that is where interstate 10 ends. Don't turn the wrong way or you'll end up in Jacksonville at the wrong ocean.

Earthquakes? Hey I was in the big one in San Francisco. I would rather have that happen 3 times a day, everyday, than to live anywhere near tornado alley. Those will kill you!

So, where has everyone gotten off too lately. I bet there will be more action going on in here as the weather cools and folks are inside more. We can brainstorm and gather energy then/now and forevermore :)

I also rode out the big one in SF in '89 and have lived through four out of five of the biggest hurricanes in the past sixty years. I vote with Kenny, no tornados please!
When I think about land I always recall the adds in Mother Earth News in the '70s for land inKentucky with natural gas wells on the property. (sigh) In reality the old vinyard would be a plus in that we have to eat and it should be good growing land.....An old orchard might be better in that if we are doing gigs in the summer people will want shade....

Hey Ranger! That's what I was thinking.

Seriously. We can recycle all of the porta john biomass and create a mini plant for our own methane production. I had a mother-in-law who got the Rothchilds and her other wealthy friends to partner up and start a methane production corporation in India. Lots of human waist in India, not enough gas or wood to cook on. They made so much money that 2 years later the nation of India nationalized their gas manufacturing corporation.

Ken Englander's wife, (can't remember her name right now) Marty I think, worked for years at the sewage treatment plant in SF down at the beach next to Daly City. They made recycled water for lawns and had biomass.

Huhray For EarthQuakes! We love EarthQuakes! Like somebody use to say, "It lets you know that the Earth is still alive."

EarthQuakes are an E Ticket ride. (Disneyland tickets. ABCDE)

    Love the Earth,
    Kenny

A big welcome to the new space! Cakes, He made it!

    Hi all

The Energy angle for almost ANY PIECE of property can be tackled so much eaiser these days. Been dealing with off grid power for a while now and now the awareness had made all types of alternative production methods so much more viaable. EVEN JUST composting is able to produce nat gas used for cooking!. SO where is the piece of property!! lol I was told about appx 100 plus acres outside of C-Ville Orygun reciently. Can probally get the cost info. The Goal it to look for multiple sites correct??

    peace/love
    ww/

    ps who needs Hawaii info????
